5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your UBOTIE keyboard, please refer to the following common solutions:

5.1. Connectivity Issues

  • Keyboard not connecting: Ensure the keyboard is turned on and batteries are correctly installed and charged. Re-initiate pairing mode by holding Fn + 1/2/3 for 2 seconds.
  • Bluetooth not found on device: Make sure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and discoverable. Try restarting your device's Bluetooth function.
  • Frequent disconnections: This can sometimes be due to low battery. Replace the batteries. Ensure the keyboard is within the 10-meter Bluetooth range and there are no significant obstructions or strong interference sources (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, other wireless devices).
  • Windows PC connectivity: If your Windows PC does not have built-in Bluetooth or an older version, you may need a separate Bluetooth adapter (dongle) for stable connection.

5.2. Keys Not Responding

  • Specific keys not working: Check if any debris is lodged under the keycap. Remove the keycap and clean the area. Re-seat the keycap firmly.
  • All keys not working: Ensure the keyboard is connected via Bluetooth. Check battery levels and replace if necessary. Try turning the keyboard off and on again.

5.3. Lag or Input Delay

  • Ensure your device's operating system is up to date.
  • Minimize other active Bluetooth connections on your device.
