Introduction

This WINFLIKE Universal Remote Control (Model WL-ELEMENT3-DHF) is designed as a direct replacement for a wide range of Element brand televisions. It offers immediate functionality without the need for complex programming.

Setup

1. Battery Installation

The remote control requires two (2) AAA batteries (not included).

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
2. Slide the cover downwards to open.
3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals match the diagrams inside the compartment.
4. Slide the cover back into place until it clicks securely.

2. Initial Use

This remote control is pre-programmed for Element TVs and does not require any manual code entry or synchronization steps.

1. Ensure batteries are correctly installed.
2. Point the remote control directly at your Element TV.
3. Press the Power button. The TV should turn on or off.

If the TV does not respond, ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV's infrared sensor.

Operating the Remote Control

Button Functions

• Power: Turns the TV on or off.

• Source: Cycles through available input sources (HDMI, AV, Component, etc.).

• Menu: Opens the TV's main menu.

• Directional Arrows (Up, Down, Left, Right): Navigate through menus and options.
• Exit: Exits the current menu or on-screen display.
• Info: Displays current channel information or program details.
• Sleep: Sets a timer for the TV to automatically turn off.
• MTS: Multi-channel Television Sound (Stereo, SAP, Mono).

• Freeze: Pauses the current image on screen.
• C.LIST: Channel List.
• Auto: Auto-adjusts picture settings (if supported by TV).
• Aspect: Changes the aspect ratio of the screen.

• FAV: Accesses favorite channels list.
• REPEAT: Repeats media playback.
• USB: Switches to USB input or accesses USB media.
• CC (Closed Caption): Toggles closed captions on/off.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the remote's response becomes sluggish or stops working. Always replace both AAA batteries at the same time with new ones. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

Cleaning

Wipe the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as they may damage the remote's surface or internal components.

Storage

Store the remote in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use for extended periods.

Troubleshooting

Remote Not Responding

• Check Batteries: Ensure the batteries are correctly inserted with the correct polarity (+/-) and are not depleted. Replace with fresh AAA batteries if necessary.
• Line of Sight: Make sure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the TV's infrared sensor. The remote requires a clear line of sight to operate the TV.
• Distance: Operate the remote within a reasonable distance from the TV (typically up to 20 feet or 6 meters).
• TV Power: Confirm that the TV is plugged in and receiving power.
