4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all packaging materials. Ensure no parts are missing or damaged. It is recommended to keep the packaging materials for future transport of the appliance.

After unpacking, allow the freezer to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle, preventing potential damage to the cooling system.

4.2 Placement

  • Place the freezer on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources (e.g., stove, heater).
  • Ensure adequate air circulation around the freezer. Maintain a minimum of 4 inches (10 cm) clearance from walls on all sides.
  • The space-saving flat back design allows for placement against a wall or in a corner.
  • This appliance is designed for freestanding installation only.

4.3 Leveling

The freezer is equipped with adjustable leveling legs. Adjust these legs to ensure the unit is level. A level freezer operates more efficiently and reduces vibration.
