5. Installation Guide

5.1 Pre-Installation Checklist

5.2 Rough-in Valve Installation

  1. Turn off the main water supply.
  2. Install the brass rough-in valve body into the wall according to local plumbing codes and the provided diagram. Ensure it is level and securely mounted.
  3. Connect the hot and cold water supply lines to the corresponding inlets on the valve (NPT 1/2").
  4. Connect the fixed shower head connector and hand shower head connector to the valve outlets.
  5. Perform a leak test before closing the wall.

5.3 Shower Head and Handheld Installation

  1. Install the shower arm into the fixed shower head connector, ensuring a tight seal.
  2. Attach the 10-inch rain shower head to the shower arm.
  3. Mount the shower holder for the handheld shower head at a convenient height.
  4. Connect the 1.5M shower hose to the handheld shower head and the hand shower head connector on the valve.
  5. Install the trim plate and handles onto the rough-in valve.

6. Operating Instructions

The JingGang shower system provides a seamless transition between its rainfall and handheld functions, along with precise temperature control.

  • Turning On/Off: Rotate the main handle on the mixer control valve to turn the water flow on or off.
  • Adjusting Temperature: The main handle also controls the water temperature. Rotate it left for hotter water and right for colder water.
  • Switching Functions: The smaller knob on the mixer control valve allows you to switch between the rainfall shower head and the handheld shower head. Simply turn the knob to select your desired water outlet.
  • Air Pressure Technology: The rain shower head injects air into the water, mixing it to provide a soft, natural raining experience with a strong flow of up to 2.5 GPM.
