To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the camera frequently. Charge the camera regularly, especially if it will be stored for an extended period. You can also record while charging by connecting it to a power bank or USB charger.
6.2 Storage Management
The camera's loop recording feature automatically manages storage by overwriting the oldest files when the memory is nearly full. Regularly back up important recordings to a computer or external storage device to prevent accidental loss.
6.3 Cleaning and Storage
Wipe the camera body and lens with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
7. Troubleshooting
- Camera not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and check the charging indicator.
- Camera not recognized by phone/PC:
- Ensure your phone's screen is on when connecting.
- Verify the connection cable and adapters are working correctly.
- If using an iOS adapter, ensure it is suitable for data transfer.
- A user review suggests reinserting the SD card under the battery if it comes loose.
