1. Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your Delkin Devices Fat Gecko Dual Suction Camera Mount and Fat Gecko Tablet and iPad Bracket. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure safe and effective operation of the product.

The Delkin Devices Fat Gecko Dual Suction Camera Mount is designed to securely attach cameras to smooth, non-porous surfaces using two industrial-grade suction cups. 3. Safety Information

4. Setup and Assembly

4.1 Attaching the Fat Gecko Dual Suction Camera Mount

  2. Position the Mount: Place the two suction cups of the Fat Gecko mount onto the clean surface.

4.2 Attaching the Fat Gecko Tablet and iPad Bracket

  1. The Tablet and iPad Bracket features a standard 1/4"-20 female thread on its back.
  2. Align the 1/4"-20 screw on the Fat Gecko Dual Suction Mount with the female thread on the back of the Tablet Bracket.
  3. Rotate the bracket clockwise onto the screw until it is finger-tight and securely attached. Do not overtighten.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Mounting a Camera

  1. Ensure the Fat Gecko Dual Suction Mount is securely attached to your desired surface.
  2. Locate the 1/4"-20 screw at the top of the mount's adjustable arm.
  3. Align the camera's tripod socket with this screw.
  4. Rotate the camera clockwise onto the screw until it is finger-tight.
  5. Adjust the camera angle using the double knuckle joints and extension tube. Loosen the adjustment knobs, position the camera, then tighten the knobs firmly to lock the position.

5.2 Mounting a Tablet/iPad with the Bracket

  1. Ensure the Fat Gecko Tablet and iPad Bracket is securely attached to the Fat Gecko Dual Suction Mount.
  2. Gently pull apart the retractable arms of the bracket to create an opening for your tablet or iPad.
  3. Insert your tablet or iPad into the bracket, ensuring it sits firmly within the custom-molded corners. The retractable arms will secure the device.
  4. Verify that the tablet is held securely and that all buttons and ports remain accessible.
  5. Adjust the tablet angle using the double knuckle joints on the Fat Gecko mount. Loosen the adjustment knobs, position the tablet, then tighten the knobs firmly to lock the position.

5.3 Removing the Mount from a Surface

  1. First, remove your camera or tablet from the mount.
  2. Flip the gray levers on each suction cup upwards to release the vacuum seal.
  3. Gently lift the mount from the surface. Do not force it, as this may damage the suction cups or the surface.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Clean the suction cups and mounting surfaces with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Ensure they are completely dry before re-attaching. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
