2. Important Safety Information

- Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
- Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating unattended.
- Always unplug heater when not in use.
- Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area where it will not be tripped over.

4. Setup
Your Lasko CT16450 Ceramic Space Heater comes fully assembled. No additional assembly is required.
- Remove the heater from its packaging.
- Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure it is placed in a location where it will not be easily tipped over.
- Position the heater away from walls, furniture, and other objects to allow for proper airflow and to prevent fire hazards. Maintain at least 3 feet (0.9 m) clearance from combustible materials.
- Plug the 6 ft. 2-prong cord directly into a standard 120V wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.

5. Operating Instructions
The Lasko CT16450 features easy-to-use controls located on the top of the unit.

5.1 Power On/Off
- To turn the heater ON, rotate the thermostat dial clockwise to the desired heat setting.
- To turn the heater OFF, rotate the thermostat dial counter-clockwise to the 'OFF' position.
5.2 Heat Settings
The heater offers two heat settings:
- LOW (900W): For moderate warmth and energy efficiency.
- HIGH (1500W): For maximum warmth and faster heating.
5.3 Manual Thermostat
The manual thermostat allows you to control your desired personal comfort level:
- Rotate the thermostat dial clockwise to increase the desired temperature.
- Rotate the thermostat dial counter-clockwise to decrease the desired temperature.
- The heater will cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.
5.4 Oscillation Function
The optional widespread oscillation helps evenly disperse warmth throughout the room:
- Press the oscillation button (usually indicated by a circular arrow icon) on the control panel to activate the oscillation.
- Press the button again to stop the oscillation.

6. Maintenance

- Always unplug the heater before cleaning.
- Use a soft cloth to gently wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater.
- Do not use water, alcohol, gasoline, or abrasive cleaners to clean the heater.
- Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove lint and dirt from the air intake and exhaust grilles.
