Maintenance
Lubrication
Regular lubrication is crucial for the longevity and performance of your air impact wrench. Apply a few drops of air tool oil into the air inlet before each use or after every hour of continuous operation. This lubricates the internal motor components.
Air Line Filter/Lubricator
It is recommended to use an air line filter/lubricator system to ensure clean, lubricated air reaches the tool. This prevents moisture and debris from entering the tool and provides consistent lubrication.
Cleaning
Keep the tool clean and free from debris. Wipe down the exterior with a clean cloth. Do not use harsh solvents that could damage the composite housing.
Storage
When not in use, disconnect the tool from the air supply. Store the impact wrench in a clean, dry place, away from excessive moisture and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Tool does not operate or operates weakly. | Low air pressure; Insufficient air supply; Lack of lubrication; Clogged air inlet filter; Worn internal parts. | Check air compressor pressure and regulator setting (ensure 90 PSI). Verify air hose diameter and length are adequate. Add air tool oil. Clean or replace air inlet filter. Contact authorized service center for inspection. |
| Air leaks from tool. | Loose fittings; Damaged O-rings or seals; Internal damage. | Tighten all air fittings. Inspect and replace damaged O-rings or seals. Contact authorized service center. |
| Reduced power or intermittent operation. | Lack of lubrication; Moisture in air line; Incorrect power regulator setting. | Lubricate tool. Drain moisture from air compressor tank and air lines; use an air line filter/dryer. Adjust power regulator to a higher setting. |
