1. Product Overview

The Kenwood HFP30.000BK Air Fryer is designed to provide a healthier way to fry your favorite foods, using rapid air circulation technology. 2. Important Safety Instructions

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.
  • Do not immerse the appliance, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
  • Ensure the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to your local mains voltage.
  • Keep the appliance out of reach of children.

4. Setup and First Use

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and promotional labels from the air fryer.
  2. Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Clean the pan and basket thoroughly with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse and dry completely.
  3. Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, horizontal, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 10 cm of free space around the appliance for proper ventilation.
  4. Pre-heating (Optional): For best results, pre-heat the air fryer for 3-5 minutes at the desired cooking temperature before adding food.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

  1. Plug the power cord into a grounded wall outlet.
  2. Carefully pull the pan out of the air fryer.
  3. Place the ingredients into the pan. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
  4. Slide the pan back into the air fryer. Ensure it clicks into place.
  5. Press the power button on the digital control panel to turn on the appliance.
  6. Use the temperature control buttons to set the desired temperature (80-200°C).
  7. Use the timer control buttons to set the desired cooking time (0-60 minutes).
  8. Press the start button to begin the cooking process.
  9. Some recipes require shaking the ingredients halfway through the preparation time. To do this, pull the pan out of the appliance by the handle and shake it. Then slide the pan back into the air fryer.
  10. When the set cooking time has elapsed, the appliance will automatically turn off.
  11. Carefully pull the pan out and empty the contents into a bowl or onto a plate.

5.2 Cooking Tips

  • For crispier results, lightly brush or spray food with a small amount of oil.
  • Smaller ingredients usually require a slightly shorter preparation time than larger ingredients.
  • Shaking smaller ingredients halfway through the preparation time optimizes the end result and can help prevent unevenly fried ingredients.
  • You can also use the air fryer to reheat dishes.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Clean the appliance after every use to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.
  2. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners.
  3. The removable non-stick pan and basket are dishwasher safe, or can be cleaned with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge.
  4. For stubborn food residue, soak the pan and basket in hot water with some dish soap for about 10 minutes.
  5. Clean the inside of the appliance with a hot water and a non-abrasive sponge.
  6. Clean the heating element with a cleaning brush to remove any food residue.
  7. Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing the appliance.
