3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Unpacking and Placement

Carefully unpack the appliance and remove all packaging materials. Place the refrigerator-freezer on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the appliance, especially at the back and sides, to allow for proper heat dissipation. Maintain a minimum distance of 5-10 cm from walls or other furniture.

3.2 Electrical Connection

Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, ensure the voltage (220 Volts) and wattage (90 Watts) match your household's electrical system. Use a dedicated, properly grounded outlet. Allow the appliance to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours before plugging it in to allow the refrigerant to settle.

3.3 Door Reversal

The door hinge of this appliance is reversible, allowing you to change the opening direction to suit your kitchen layout. This procedure typically involves moving the hinges and door stops from one side to the other. Refer to the detailed diagrams and instructions provided in the separate installation guide or contact qualified service personnel for assistance.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Temperature Control

The refrigerator-freezer is equipped with a manual temperature control dial, usually located inside the refrigerator compartment near the LED light. Rotate the dial to adjust the cooling intensity. Higher numbers typically indicate colder temperatures. An "Eco" setting may be available for energy-efficient operation.

4.2 Using the CrispZone Drawer

Place fresh fruits and vegetables in the CrispZone drawer at the bottom of the refrigerator compartment. This drawer is designed to maintain optimal humidity and temperature levels to keep produce fresh for an extended period.

4.3 Utilizing the EggTray

The provided EggTray can be placed on one of the refrigerator shelves. Use it to safely store eggs, preventing them from rolling and breaking, and keeping them easily accessible.

4.4 LED Lighting

The interior of the refrigerator is illuminated by an energy-efficient LED light. This light automatically turns on when the refrigerator door is opened, providing clear visibility of the contents.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

5.1 General Cleaning

Regular cleaning helps maintain the hygiene and efficiency of your appliance. Always unplug the refrigerator-freezer before cleaning.

  • Interior: Clean the interior with a solution of mild detergent and warm water. Wipe dry thoroughly. Remove shelves and drawers for easier cleaning.
  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft cloth dampened with water and a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Door Seals: Clean the door seals regularly to ensure a tight seal, which is crucial for energy efficiency.

5.2 Defrosting

This appliance features manual defrosting for the freezer compartment. When the ice layer in the freezer reaches a thickness of about 3-5 mm, it should be defrosted. To defrost:

  1. Unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
  2. Remove all food items from the freezer and store them in a cool place or another freezer.
  3. Leave the freezer door open to allow the ice to melt naturally. You can place towels at the bottom to absorb water.
