4. Setup & Installation
The Airton Ready Clim system is designed for simplified installation. However, due to the handling of refrigerant and electrical connections, it is highly recommended that installation be performed by a certified professional. If you choose to install it yourself, proceed with extreme caution and ensure compliance with all local electrical and environmental regulations.
4.1. Choosing Installation Location
- Indoor Unit: Select a location that allows for even air distribution, is away from direct sunlight or heat sources, and has sufficient space for maintenance. Ensure the wall is strong enough to support the unit.
- Outdoor Unit: Choose a location with good airflow, away from obstacles that might block air intake or exhaust. Minimize the distance between the indoor and outdoor units to optimize performance. Ensure the outdoor unit is placed on a stable, level surface or mounted securely using the provided anti-vibration blocks.

4.2. Mounting the Units
- Indoor Unit: Secure the indoor mounting bracket to the wall according to the provided template. Ensure it is level and firmly attached.
- Outdoor Unit: Place the outdoor unit on a stable, level surface or mount it on a suitable wall bracket (not included, but often recommended). Use the anti-vibration blocks under the outdoor unit to reduce noise and vibration.
4.3. Connecting Refrigerant Lines (Readyclim)
The Readyclim system features pre-charged refrigerant lines designed for easy connection. Follow these steps carefully:
- Carefully uncoil the 4-meter pre-charged refrigeration connection lines.
- Connect the larger diameter line (1/2 inch) to the corresponding port on both the indoor and outdoor units.
- Connect the smaller diameter line (1/4 inch) to the corresponding port on both the indoor and outdoor units.
- Ensure all connections are hand-tightened, then use a wrench to tighten them securely, but do not overtighten.
- The system is designed to automatically release the refrigerant into the circuit once connections are properly made and tightened.
