4. Setup & Installation

The Airton Ready Clim system is designed for simplified installation. However, due to the handling of refrigerant and electrical connections, it is highly recommended that installation be performed by a certified professional. If you choose to install it yourself, proceed with extreme caution and ensure compliance with all local electrical and environmental regulations.

4.1. Choosing Installation Location

• Indoor Unit: Select a location that allows for even air distribution, is away from direct sunlight or heat sources, and has sufficient space for maintenance. Ensure the wall is strong enough to support the unit.
• Outdoor Unit: Choose a location with good airflow, away from obstacles that might block air intake or exhaust. Minimize the distance between the indoor and outdoor units to optimize performance. Ensure the outdoor unit is placed on a stable, level surface or mounted securely using the provided anti-vibration blocks.

4.2. Mounting the Units

1. Indoor Unit: Secure the indoor mounting bracket to the wall according to the provided template. Ensure it is level and firmly attached.
2. Outdoor Unit: Place the outdoor unit on a stable, level surface or mount it on a suitable wall bracket (not included, but often recommended). Use the anti-vibration blocks under the outdoor unit to reduce noise and vibration.

4.3. Connecting Refrigerant Lines (Readyclim)

The Readyclim system features pre-charged refrigerant lines designed for easy connection. Follow these steps carefully:

1. Carefully uncoil the 4-meter pre-charged refrigeration connection lines.
2. Connect the larger diameter line (1/2 inch) to the corresponding port on both the indoor and outdoor units.
3. Connect the smaller diameter line (1/4 inch) to the corresponding port on both the indoor and outdoor units.
4. Ensure all connections are hand-tightened, then use a wrench to tighten them securely, but do not overtighten.
5. The system is designed to automatically release the refrigerant into the circuit once connections are properly made and tightened.

4.4. Electrical Connections

1. Connect the electrical wire between the indoor and outdoor units as per the wiring diagram in the warranty booklet.
2. Connect the power cable to the outdoor unit and to a suitable 220-240V~ power outlet. Ensure the circuit is protected by an appropriate circuit breaker.
3. Important: All electrical work must comply with local electrical codes and regulations. If unsure, consult a qualified electrician.

4.5. WiFi Module Installation

1. Locate the designated port for the WiFi module on the indoor unit.
2. Carefully insert the WiFi module into the port until it clicks into place.
3. Download the "Smart Life - Smart Living" application from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
4. Follow the in-app instructions to pair your air conditioner with your smartphone or tablet.

5. Operating Instructions

Your Airton air conditioner can be operated using the included remote control or via the "Smart Life - Smart Living" mobile application.

5.1. Remote Control Operation

Insert the provided batteries into the remote control. The remote control allows you to adjust various settings:

• Power Button: Turns the unit ON or OFF.
• Mode Button: Cycles through operating modes:
  • Cooling Mode (Snowflake icon): For cooling the room.
  • Heating Mode (Sun icon): For heating the room.
  • Fan Mode (Fan icon): Circulates air without heating or cooling.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance, energy efficiency, and longevity of your Airton air conditioner. Always disconnect power before performing any maintenance.

6.1. Cleaning Air Filters (Indoor Unit)

Clean the air filters every two weeks, or more frequently if the unit is used heavily or in dusty environments.

1. Open the front panel of the indoor unit.
2. Carefully remove the dust filters.
3. Wash the filters with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
4. Allow the filters to air dry completely before reinserting them. Do not expose them to direct sunlight or heat.
5. Reinstall the dry filters and close the front panel.

6.2. Cleaning the Indoor Unit
