4. Operating
4.1 Water Resistance
This RORIOS watch has a water resistance rating of 30 meters (3 ATM). This means it is suitable for daily use and can withstand splashes or brief immersion in water, such as washing hands or light rain. It is not suitable for swimming, showering, diving, or any water sports where it might be submerged for extended periods or exposed to high-pressure water.
- Avoid operating the crown or pushers when the watch is wet.
- Do not expose the watch to hot water or steam, as this can compromise the water seals.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning Your Watch
To maintain the appearance of your RORIOS watch:
- Wipe the watch case and strap regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
- For stainless steel parts, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying.
- Avoid using chemical cleaners, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the watch's finish.
5.2 Battery Replacement
As a quartz watch, your RORIOS timepiece is powered by a battery. The battery life typically ranges from 1 to 3 years, depending on usage. When the watch stops running, it indicates that the battery needs to be replaced. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure the water resistance seals are properly re-installed.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your RORIOS watch, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Watch not running: Ensure the crown is fully pushed in. If it is, the battery may need replacement.
- Time inaccuracy: If the watch is running but the time is incorrect, reset the time as described in Section 3.1. Consistent inaccuracy may indicate a need for battery replacement or professional inspection.
- Condensation under the crystal: This may indicate a breach in the watch's water resistance. Avoid further contact with water and seek professional service immediately.
