Introduction
The Xbox Wireless Controller - Robot White offers a modernized design with sculpted surfaces and refined geometry for enhanced comfort during gameplay. It features textured grip on the triggers, bumpers, and back case, along with a hybrid D-pad for precise control. A dedicated Share button allows for seamless content capture and sharing. This controller is designed for quick pairing and switching between various devices, including Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows 10 PC, compatible phones, and tablets.

Setup
1. Battery Installation
Your Xbox Wireless Controller requires two AA batteries (included). To install:
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the controller.
- Insert the two AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Pairing with Xbox Console (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One)
To connect your controller to an Xbox console:
- Turn on your Xbox console.
- Press and hold the Xbox button (
) on the controller to turn it on. - Press the Pair button (
) on the top of the controller for 3 seconds until the Xbox button starts flashing. - Press the Pair button on your Xbox console (located near the USB ports on the front or side). The Xbox button on the controller will glow solid when connected.
3. Pairing with Windows PC (Bluetooth)
To connect your controller to a Windows 10 PC via Bluetooth:
- Ensure your PC has Bluetooth enabled.
- Press and hold the Xbox button (
) on the controller to turn it on. - Press and hold the Pair button (
) on the top of the controller for 3 seconds until the Xbox button starts flashing. - On your PC, go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
- Select Add Bluetooth or other device, then choose Bluetooth.
- Select Xbox Wireless Controller from the list. The Xbox button on the controller will glow solid when connected.
4. Pairing with Mobile Devices (Android/iOS)
To connect your controller to a compatible Android or iOS device via Bluetooth:
- Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device.
- Press and hold the Xbox button (
) on the controller to turn it on. - Press and hold the Pair button (
) on the top of the controller for 3 seconds until the Xbox button starts flashing. - On your mobile device, go to Bluetooth settings and select Xbox Wireless Controller from the available devices. The Xbox button on the controller will glow solid when connected.
Note: Some functionalities may not be supported on Android via Bluetooth, depending on the device and OS version.

Operating Instructions
1. Basic Controls
Familiarize yourself with the controller's layout:
- Xbox Button: Powers on/off the controller, opens the Guide on Xbox, or the Xbox Game Bar on PC.
- View Button: Changes views or displays more information in games and apps.
- Menu Button: Opens game or app menus, similar to right-clicking on a PC.
- Share Button: Captures screenshots and game clips.
- A, B, X, Y Buttons: Primary action buttons.
- D-pad: Hybrid directional pad for precise input.
- Left/Right Thumbsticks: For movement and camera control.
- Left/Right Bumpers (LB, RB): Shoulder buttons.
- Left/Right Triggers (LT, RT): Analog triggers for acceleration, braking, or firing.
- 3.5mm Headset Jack: For connecting compatible headsets.

2. Using the Share Button
The dedicated Share button allows you to quickly capture your gameplay moments:
- Single Press: Takes a screenshot.
- Press and Hold: Records a game clip (default 30 seconds).
Captured content can be accessed and managed through the Xbox Guide on console or the Xbox Game Bar on PC.
3. Custom Button Mapping
You can customize button mappings using the Xbox Accessories app. This app is available on Xbox consoles and Windows 10 PCs.
- Download and open the Xbox Accessories app.
- Connect your controller.
- Select your controller and choose Configure.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to remap buttons to your preference.

4. Switching Between Devices
To switch your controller between previously paired devices:
- If the controller is connected to one device, simply press the Pair button (
) twice quickly to switch to the last paired device. - For other devices, you may need to re-enter pairing mode and select the controller from the device's Bluetooth settings.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning
To keep your controller clean:
- Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the surface.
- For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid excessive moisture.
- Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these can damage the controller's finish.
2. Battery Care
- Replace AA batteries when the controller's power indicator shows low battery.
- If using rechargeable battery packs (sold separately), follow the manufacturer's charging instructions.
- Remove batteries if the controller will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
Troubleshooting
Controller Not Connecting/Disconnecting
- Check Batteries: Ensure batteries are fresh and correctly inserted.
- Re-pair: Try re-pairing the controller with your device (console, PC, or mobile) by following the setup instructions.
- Interference: Move closer to your device and ensure no large objects are blocking the signal. Avoid other wireless devices that might cause interference.
- Update Firmware: Connect the controller to an Xbox console or Windows PC via a USB cable and check for firmware updates using the Xbox Accessories app.
Buttons Not Responding
- Clean Controller: Ensure no debris is lodged around the buttons.
- Test in Another Game/App: Determine if the issue is specific to one application.
- Reset Controller: Remove and reinsert the batteries.
Headset Audio Issues
- Check Connection: Ensure the headset is fully plugged into the 3.5mm jack.
- Volume Settings: Adjust headset and system volume levels.
- Test Headset: Try the headset with another device to confirm it's working.
