Setup
Before first use, follow these steps to prepare your rice cooker:
- Unpack: Remove all packaging materials and accessories.
- Clean: Wash the inner pot, inner lid, steam cap, spatula, and measuring cup with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth.
- Assemble: Place the clean inner pot into the main unit. Ensure the inner lid and steam cap are correctly attached.
- Placement: Place the rice cooker on a stable, heat-resistant, and level surface away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
- Power: Plug the power cord into a 120V electrical outlet. The LCD display will light up.
Operating Instructions
Basic Rice Cooking (Plain/White Rice):
- Measure Rice: Use the provided measuring cup to measure the desired amount of rice.
- Wash Rice: Rinse the rice thoroughly until the water runs clear.
- Add to Pot: Place the washed rice into the inner pot.
- Add Water: Add water according to the markings inside the inner pot. For Plain/White rice, match the water level to the corresponding cup marking (e.g., for 2 cups of rice, fill to the '2' mark on the 'Plain' scale).
- Select Setting: Close the lid. Press the 'Menu' button until 'Plain/White Rice' is selected.
- Start Cooking: Press the 'Start' button. The cooking process will begin.
- Keep Warm: Once cooking is complete, the cooker will automatically switch to the 'Keep Warm' function for up to 24 hours.

Timer Settings:
The rice cooker features 2 preset timer settings for delayed cooking.
- Prepare ingredients as usual in the inner pot.
- Select your desired cooking menu.
- Press the 'Timer' button. Use 'Hour' and 'Min' buttons to set the desired completion time.
- Press 'Start'. The cooker will begin cooking at the appropriate time to finish at your set time.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your rice cooker.
After Each Use:
- Unplug: Always unplug the rice cooker and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Inner Pot: Wash the non-stick inner pot with warm soapy water using a soft sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaners or metal scrubbers to prevent damage to the ceramic coating. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Inner Lid & Steam Cap: Detach the inner lid and steam cap. Wash them with warm soapy water, rinse, and dry.
- Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
