Introduction
This manual provides essential instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your Canon EOS 4000D DSLR camera. The Canon EOS 4000D is an 18.0MP APS-C CMOS sensor camera, equipped with a DIGIC 4+ Image Processor, designed for capturing high-quality photos and Full HD 1080p videos. Setup
1. Unpacking and Initial Inspection
Carefully unpack all components from the box. Ensure the following items are present:

- LC-E10 Charger

2. Charging the Battery
Insert the LP-E10 battery into the LC-E10 charger. Plug the charger into a power outlet. The charging indicator light will show the charging status. Charge the battery fully before first use.
3. Attaching the Lens
Remove the body cap from the camera and the rear lens cap from the EF-S 18-55mm lens. Align the red index mark on the lens with the red index mark on the camera body. Turn the lens clockwise until it clicks into place.

4. Inserting the SD Card
Open the SD card slot cover on the side of the camera. Insert the 32GB SD card with the label facing the back of the camera until it clicks into place. Close the cover securely.
5. Attaching the Neck Strap
Thread the neck strap through the strap lugs on both sides of the camera body and secure it as per the instructions provided with the strap.
Operating the Camera
1. Powering On/Off
Locate the power switch on the top of the camera. Slide it to the 'ON' position to power on the camera. Slide it to 'OFF' to power off.

2. Basic Shooting Modes
The mode dial on the top of the camera allows you to select various shooting modes:
- Scene Intelligent Auto (A+): The camera automatically analyzes the scene and sets optimal settings. Ideal for beginners.
- Program AE (P): The camera sets the shutter speed and aperture, but you can adjust other settings.
- Shutter-priority AE (Tv): You set the shutter speed, and the camera sets the aperture.
- Aperture-priority AE (Av): You set the aperture, and the camera sets the shutter speed.
- Manual (M): You control both shutter speed and aperture.
- Creative Auto (CA): Offers more control than Auto, with easy-to-understand adjustments.

3. Focusing and Shooting
Look through the optical viewfinder or use the 2.7-inch LCD screen for Live View shooting. Press the shutter button halfway down to activate the 9-point autofocus system. Once focus is achieved (indicated by a beep and illuminated focus points), press the shutter button fully to take a picture.

4. Video Recording
To record Full HD 1080p video, set the mode dial to the movie shooting mode (usually indicated by a video camera icon). Press the Live View shooting/movie shooting button to start and stop recording.
5. Wi-Fi Connectivity
The EOS 4000D features built-in Wi-Fi. Download the Canon Camera Connect app on your compatible smartphone to connect to the camera. This allows for remote shooting and instant sharing of images.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Camera Body and Lens
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the camera body. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water.
