Setup
1. Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged. A full charge typically takes approximately 3-4 hours and provides up to 12 hours of playback.
2. Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (⏻) for 2-3 seconds. You will hear an audible prompt.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button (⏻) for 2-3 seconds. You will hear an audible prompt.
3. Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash.
- On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "AIWA BS-200BK" from the list of devices.
- Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid, and you will hear a confirmation tone.
- The speaker will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if the device is within range and Bluetooth is enabled.
4. True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing
TWS allows you to pair two Aiwa BS-200BK speakers together for a stereo sound experience.
- Ensure both BS-200BK speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
- On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the TWS button (often indicated by two interlocking circles or a similar icon) for 2-3 seconds.
- The speakers will search for each other and automatically pair. You will hear a confirmation tone once TWS pairing is successful.
- Now, connect your mobile device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in "Bluetooth Pairing" above. Both speakers will play audio in stereo.
5. FM Radio Mode
To switch to FM Radio mode, press the Mode button (often labeled 'M').
- Auto-scan for stations: In FM mode, press and hold the Play/Pause button (▶‖) to automatically scan and save available FM stations.
- Change stations: Press the Volume Up (+) or Volume Down (-) buttons to navigate through saved stations.
6. USB Playback
Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB port. The speaker will automatically switch to USB mode and begin playing music.
7. AUX Input
Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, laptop) to the speaker's AUX-in port using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included). The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode. Control playback from your connected device.
Operating Instructions
Basic Controls
- Power Button (⏻): Press and hold to power on/off.
- Mode Button (M): Short press to switch between Bluetooth, FM Radio, USB, and AUX modes.
- Play/Pause Button (▶‖): Short press to play or pause music. In FM mode, press and hold to auto-scan stations.
- Volume Up / Next Track Button (+): Short press to increase volume. Long press to skip to the next track (in Bluetooth/USB mode) or next saved station (in FM mode).
- Volume Down / Previous Track Button (-): Short press to decrease volume. Long press to go to the previous track (in Bluetooth/USB mode) or previous saved station (in FM mode).
Hands-Free Calling
When connected to your mobile phone via Bluetooth:
- Answer Call: Short press the Play/Pause button (▶‖) to answer an incoming call.
- End Call: Short press the Play/Pause button (▶‖) again to end a call.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause button (▶‖) to reject an incoming call.
- Redial Last Number: Double-press the Play/Pause button (▶‖) to redial the last dialed number.
Maintenance
- Keep the speaker away from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, and dust.
- Clean the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed when not charging to maintain IPX6 water resistance.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the speaker yourself. This will void the warranty.
- Store the speaker in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
