3. Setup

3.1. Installing Batteries

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of each handset.
  2. Insert the two AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover.

3.2. Connecting the Base Unit and Charging Cradles

  1. Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the TEL socket on the main base unit and the other end to your telephone wall socket.
  2. Plug one power adapter into the DC IN socket on the main base unit and the other end into a mains power outlet.
  3. For the secondary charging cradle, plug its power adapter into the DC IN socket on the cradle and the other end into a mains power outlet.
  4. Place each handset into its respective charging cradle. The handset display will indicate charging. Allow at least 15 hours for the initial charge.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Making and Receiving Calls

  • To Make a Call: Pick up the handset or press the Green Call button, then dial the number.
  • To Receive a Call: Press the Green Call button when the phone rings.
  • To End a Call: Press the Red End Call button or place the handset back in the cradle.

4.2. Adjusting Volume and Audio Boost

  • During a call, use the Up/Down navigation keys to adjust the earpiece or speaker volume.
