Individual ON/OFF Switches:

Each port on the hub has an independent ON/OFF switch. This allows you to control power to individual devices without needing to unplug them. Simply press the button next to the desired port to toggle its power state. The corresponding LED will indicate if the port is active (blue for data, red for charging).

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the hub. Avoid using liquid cleaners or aerosols.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the hub in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Handling: Avoid dropping the hub or subjecting it to strong impacts, as this may damage internal components.

6. Troubleshooting

Q: Devices are not recognized or are disconnecting randomly.
A: Ensure the 24W power adapter is securely connected to both the hub and a working wall outlet. Some devices, especially external hard drives, require stable power. If using with a Mac, check your system settings to ensure external drives are not set to sleep. If the issue persists, try connecting the device directly to your computer to rule out the device itself. Contact support if the problem continues.
Q: Data transfer speeds are slow.
A: Verify that both the connected device and your computer's USB port support USB 3.0. While the hub is backward compatible, devices will operate at the speed of the slowest component. Ensure all cables are USB 3.0 compatible. Also, confirm the hub's power adapter is connected, as unpowered hubs may limit speeds for multiple devices.
Q: The fast charging port is not charging my device quickly.
A: Ensure your device supports fast charging and that you are using a compatible charging cable. The port delivers up to 2.4A, but actual charging speed depends on the device's capabilities. Confirm the power adapter is connected to the hub.
Q: The LED indicator for a port is not lighting up.
A: Press the individual ON/OFF switch for that specific port to ensure it is activated. If the LED still does not light up, ensure the hub is properly powered and connected to your computer.
Q: My computer displays a blue screen error (e.g., SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED) when the hub is connected.
A: This is an uncommon issue. Ensure your computer's operating system and USB drivers are up to date. Try connecting the hub to a different USB port on your computer. If the problem persists, disconnect the hub and contact Rosonway customer support for further assistance.
