Setup Instructions
Setting Your Combination Lock
Your FlexSafe Mini comes with a pre-set combination of 0-0-0. Follow these steps to set your personal combination:
- Ensure the lock is set to the current combination (factory default is 0-0-0).
- Locate the small reset button on the side or bottom of the lock mechanism. Use a pen or a pointed object to press and hold this button.
- While holding the reset button, rotate the dials to your desired 3-digit combination. Choose a memorable but secure combination.
- Release the reset button. Your new combination is now set. Test it by scrambling the dials and then entering your new code to open the lock.
Important: Remember your combination. There is no master key or override if you forget it.

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your FlexSafe Mini:
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Do not submerge the safe in water.
- Drying: If the safe gets wet, allow it to air dry completely before storing to prevent mildew.
- Lock Care: Keep the combination lock mechanism free from sand, dirt, and debris. Periodically check that the dials turn smoothly.
- Storage: Store the safe in a cool, dry place when not in use.
Troubleshooting
Lock Not Opening
- Incorrect Combination: Double-check that you are entering the correct 3-digit combination. Ensure each dial is precisely aligned with the indicator mark.
- Dials Stiff: If the dials are stiff, gently rotate them back and forth to loosen any debris. Avoid forcing the mechanism.
- Zipper Tab Not Engaging: Ensure the zipper pull tab is fully inserted into the lock mechanism before scrambling the dials. If it's not fully seated, the lock will not engage properly.
Difficulty Attaching to Object
- Object Size: The universal-fit flap is designed for most common objects. If the object is too thick, the flap may not reach or securely engage the lock.
- Proper Alignment: Ensure the flap is wrapped tightly and aligned correctly with the lock mechanism for a secure fit.
