Introduction

The BISSELL SpinWave Hard Floor Expert is designed to simplify the cleaning of sealed hard floors. The SpinWave Hard Floor Expert operates with minimal noise, providing a powerful clean without disruption.

The machine comes equipped with a removable, Easy-Fill Clean Water Tank with a filling guide for both small and large areas. Included accessories are 2 scrubby mop pads for tough messes, 4 soft-touch mop pads for daily cleaning, a trial-size bottle of Hard Floor Sanitize Formula, and 2 trial-size bottles of Wood Floor Formulas.

Setup Guide

  1. Handle Assembly: Carefully align the handle with the main body of the mop. Push the handle firmly into the designated slot until it clicks securely into place. Ensure any attached cables are not pinched during assembly.
  2. Fill Water Tank: Remove the Easy-Fill Clean Water Tank from the unit. Unscrew the cap. Fill the tank with hot tap water up to the indicated "Water" line. For optimal cleaning, you may add a BISSELL cleaning formula up to the "Formula" line, following the instructions on the formula bottle. Securely replace the cap and reinsert the tank into the mop unit.
  3. Attach Mop Pads: Select the desired mop pads (scrubby for tough messes or soft-touch for everyday cleaning). Align the mop pads with the two spinning bases on the underside of the mop head. The pads attach easily via Velcro. Ensure they are centered and firmly pressed onto the bases.
  4. Power Cord Management: Unwind the power cord from the cord wraps on the handle. The cord is 22 feet long, providing ample reach.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. To activate the mop, step on the foot pedal at the base of the unit to recline the handle, then press the power button located on the handle. The spinning mop pads will begin to rotate.
  2. Apply Solution: To dispense cleaning solution, press the on-demand spray button on the handle. Apply as much or as little solution as needed for the area you are cleaning.
  3. Maneuver and Clean: Guide the mop across your sealed hard floors. The lightweight design and swivel steering allow for easy navigation around furniture, along baseboards, and into tight corners. The powered spinning pads will do the scrubbing for you.
  4. Suitable Surfaces: This mop is safe and effective for use on tile, sealed wood floors, laminate, linoleum, rubber floor mats, and pressed wood floors.

Maintenance

  • Clean Mop Pads: After each use, remove the mop pads from the unit. The pads are machine washable. Wash them with similar colors in warm water. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Air dry or tumble dry on low.
  • Empty and Rinse Water Tank: After each cleaning session, remove the Easy-Fill Clean Water Tank. Empty any remaining solution and rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water. Allow it to air dry before reattaching or refilling.
  • Wipe Down Unit: Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior of the SpinWave unit. Do not submerge the unit in water.

Troubleshooting

Mop Pads Stop Spinning During Use:
If the mop pads stop spinning, it may indicate that too much downward pressure is being applied to the unit. The SpinWave is designed to glide easily across the floor, allowing the powered pads to do the work. Reduce downward force and allow the mop to move more freely.
No Solution Dispensing:
Check if the Easy-Fill Clean Water Tank is properly seated and securely capped. Ensure there is sufficient cleaning solution in the tank. Verify that the spray button on the handle is being pressed during operation.
Streaks on Floor:
Ensure mop pads are clean before use. Over-application of cleaning solution can also cause streaks; use the on-demand spray sparingly. For best results, use recommended BISSELL cleaning formulas.
