Assembly typically requires two adults. A power drill may be helpful for certain steps, though basic tools are usually included.

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
  2. Identify Parts: Refer to the components list and diagrams to identify each part and piece of hardware.
  3. Assemble Frame: Connect the main frame sections using the provided bolts and washers. Do not fully tighten bolts until all sections are loosely connected.
  4. Attach Wheels: Securely attach the two Acacia wood wheels to the designated points on the frame. Ensure they are firmly in place for safe movement.
  5. Tighten All Hardware: Once the frame and wheels are assembled, systematically tighten all bolts and screws. Do not overtighten.

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance will extend the life and appearance of your chaise lounge.

  • Cleaning: Wipe the frame and rattan surfaces clean with a damp cloth. For cushions, the fabric cover is detachable and can be cleaned according to its care label.
  • Protection: To prevent fading and wear, especially for the cushion fabric, it is recommended to cover the chaise lounge when not in use or during prolonged periods of harsh weather. Store cushions indoors during heavy rain or winter months.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect all bolts and connections to ensure they are tight. Retighten as necessary. Check the wheels for any signs of wear or damage.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Difficulty during Assembly: If bolt holes do not align, try loosening all other bolts slightly to allow for adjustment. If issues persist, ensure you are using the correct hardware for each step. A power drill may assist in aligning stubborn parts.
  • Cushion Fading: Outdoor fabric can fade over time due to sun exposure. To minimize this, use a protective cover when the chair is not in use and store cushions in a shaded area or indoors when not needed.
  • Wheels Cracking/Breaking: Ensure the chair is moved on relatively smooth surfaces. Avoid dragging the chair over rough terrain or sharp objects. If wheels are damaged, contact customer support for replacement options.
