2. Safety Warnings and Precautions

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to the product or property.

  • Do not overlap or mix batteries in a disorderly way.
  • Do not mix batteries with other objects (e.g., metal objects, keys).
  • If the positive and negative terminals touch each other, it will cause SHORT CIRCUIT or EXPLOSIONS.

  • Do not mix old, new, different brands, or types of batteries.
  • Do not stack batteries.
  • Do not disassemble or puncture the battery.
  • Avoid direct sunlight, high temperature, and high humidity.
  • Do not use the positive and negative poles of the battery in reverse.
  • Store batteries in their original packaging. Ensure batteries are NOT touching each other.
  • The battery may not be suitable for some LED candles and tea lights due to voltage differences.

4. Setup and Charging Instructions

To ensure optimal performance and safety, follow these instructions for setting up and charging your EEMB LIR2032H batteries.

4.1 Initial Charge

Upon receipt, it is recommended to charge the batteries every three months to maintain their voltage, especially during long periods of disuse.

4.2 Charging Procedure

  1. Use ONLY an EEMB dedicated charger for LIR2032H batteries. Using other chargers may damage the batteries or pose safety risks.
  2. Insert the LIR2032H batteries into the designated slots of the charger, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your EEMB LIR2032H batteries, consider the following:

  • Device Malfunction after Installation:

    The LIR2032H battery has a nominal voltage of 3.7V, which can reach up to 4.2V when fully charged. This is higher than the 3V of standard CR2032 batteries. Some devices designed for 3V batteries may not function correctly or could be damaged by the higher voltage. Always check your device's voltage requirements. If your device stops working after installing an LIR2032H, try a standard 3V CR2032 battery to confirm if voltage incompatibility is the issue.

  • Battery Not Charging:

    Ensure you are using an EEMB dedicated charger. Verify that the charger is properly connected to a power source and that the batteries are inserted with correct polarity. If the issue persists, the battery might be over-discharged (below 2.7V) or damaged. Lithium-ion batteries should not be discharged below their cut-off voltage to prevent damage.

  • Short Battery Life:

    Ensure the battery is fully charged before use. Check if the device has high power consumption. For long-term storage, ensure batteries are charged to 40-60% capacity and recharged every three months. Extreme temperatures can also affect battery performance and lifespan.
