Setup
Battery Installation
- Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight.
- Insert one Fenix ARB-L21-5000U battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight.
- Screw the tail cap back on securely.
Charging the Battery
The included ARB-L21-5000U batteries feature a built-in USB-C charging port. You do not need a separate charger for the batteries.
- Locate the USB-C port on the side of the ARB-L21-5000U battery.
- Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the battery's port.
- Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter, power bank).
- The battery's indicator light will show charging status (typically red for charging, green for fully charged).

Operating Instructions
Single Switch Operation
The Fenix E35 v3.0 utilizes a single metal side switch for all operations.
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the side switch for 0.5 seconds to turn the flashlight on or off.
- Mode Switching: With the light on, single click the side switch to cycle through the brightness levels: Eco → Low → Med → High → Turbo.
- Strobe Mode: With the light on, press and hold the side switch for 1.2 seconds to activate Strobe mode. Single click to return to the previously used general mode.

Electronic Lockout Function
The electronic lockout function prevents accidental activation of the flashlight, which is especially useful during transport or storage.
- Lock: With the light switched off, double click the side switch within 0.5 seconds to lock the flashlight. The light will blink twice on Eco mode to indicate locked status.
- Unlock: When locked, double click the side switch within 0.5 seconds to unlock the flashlight. The light will be unlocked and activated on Eco mode.
- Note: In locked status, clicking or pressing the switch will activate two one-second blinks on Eco mode to indicate locked status.
Alternatively, you can slightly unscrew the head of the flashlight by 1/3 turn to prevent activation.

Battery Status Indication
The Fenix E35 v3.0 features a reliable battery level indicator built into the side switch. With the light switched off, single click the side switch to check the battery status. The indicator will last for 3 seconds.
- Green light on: Saturated (100% - 85%)
- Green light flashes: Sufficient (85% - 50%)
- Red light on: Poor (50% - 25%)
- Red light flashes: Critical (25% - 1%)

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the threads and O-rings with a clean cloth.
