1. Introduction

3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

The RC-1189 remote control requires two (2) AAA batteries for operation. Ensure correct polarity when inserting the batteries.

4. Operating Instructions

Once batteries are installed, the RC-1189 remote is ready for immediate use with your compatible Denon AV Receiver. Point the remote directly at the receiver's IR sensor for optimal performance.

4.1 Button Functions

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Remote

To maintain the remote's appearance and functionality, clean it periodically:

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the remote.
  • For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the remote.
