1. Important Safety Information

Please read and understand this entire owner's manual, including all safety information, before plugging in or using this product. Failure to do so could result in fire, electric shock, or serious personal injury.

  • Always disconnect the fireplace from the power supply before cleaning or performing maintenance.
  • Do not use this fireplace outdoors. It is designed for indoor use only.
  • Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the fireplace.
  • Never place the fireplace where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
  • Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
  • This fireplace is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the fireplace is left operating and unattended.

3. Installation Instructions

The Vitesse 36 Inch Electric Fireplace offers multiple installation options: recessed, semi-recessed, or wall-mounted. Choose the method best suited for your space.

3.1 Product Dimensions

The fireplace unit measures approximately 36 inches (W) x 18.11 inches (H) x 3.86 inches (D). The ultra-thin design ensures minimal protrusion from the wall.

3.2 Wall Mounted Installation

For wall-mounted installation, ensure the wall can support the weight of the fireplace. Use the provided mounting hardware to secure the unit firmly to a stud or appropriate wall anchors.

3.3 Recessed or Semi-Recessed Installation

This fireplace is designed to fit perfectly within a 2" x 6" stud wall for recessed or semi-recessed installation. Create an opening in the wall that matches the fireplace dimensions, ensuring adequate clearance for the air vent. The air vent allows for proper heat distribution and can be fully or partially recessed.

3.4 Power Connection

The power cord length is 5.2 feet and is located on the right side of the unit. Ensure the fireplace is connected to a grounded 120V AC outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.

4. Operating Instructions

The fireplace can be controlled via the touch screen panel on the unit or the included remote control.

4.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button on the remote or touch screen to turn the fireplace on or off.

4.2 Heating Modes

Select between 750W (low heat) and 1500W (high heat) modes using the heat button. The supplemental zone heating can warm areas up to 400 square feet. The unit features an auto-heat kill safety to prevent overheating.

4.3 Flame Effects

Customize the flame appearance with 12 flame colors and 5 flame speeds. The ultra-high intensity LED lights create realistic flame effects that emerge slowly and flash at the top of the fireplace. There are also 12 ember bed color lighting options.

4.4 Timer Function

Set the sleep timer for 1 to 8 hours. The fireplace will automatically turn off after the set duration.

4.5 Sleep Mode

Activate sleep mode for a quieter operation and reduced light output, ideal for nighttime use.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your electric fireplace.

  • Cleaning: Always unplug the fireplace before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sprays.
  • Air Vent: Periodically check the air vent for dust or obstructions. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently remove any debris.
  • Storage: If storing the fireplace for an extended period, unplug it and store it in a dry, dust-free location.

6. Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your fireplace, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
