5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Camera Body and Lens
Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the camera body. For the lens, use a lens brush to remove dust, followed by a lens cleaning solution and a microfiber cloth. Avoid touching the lens surface directly.
5.2 Sensor Cleaning
If dust spots appear on your images, the camera's image sensor may need cleaning. Refer to the camera's on-screen guide or consult a professional for sensor cleaning.
5.3 Battery Care
Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use. Charge the battery fully before extended use. Avoid extreme temperatures.
5.4 Storage
When not in use, store the camera in a dry, dust-free environment, preferably in the provided camera bag.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 "Subject is too dark" message
This message indicates insufficient light for proper exposure. Try increasing the ISO sensitivity, opening the aperture (lower f-number), or using the built-in flash if appropriate. In 'AUTO' or 'GUIDE' mode, the camera will attempt to adjust settings automatically.
6.2 Camera not powering on
Ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly inserted. Check if the memory card is inserted properly.
6.3 Images are blurry
Verify that the lens is clean and properly attached. Check your focus settings and ensure sufficient light. If using VR (Vibration Reduction) lens, ensure it's enabled in low-light or slow shutter speed conditions.
6.4 Memory card error
Reinsert the memory card. If the error persists, try formatting the card (this will erase all data) or use a different memory card.
