Setup and Assembly
Assembly requires two or more adults and approximately one hour. Wearing protective gloves during assembly is recommended. Follow these steps carefully:
- Prepare the Base:
Insert the long metal rod through the designated holes in the base, ensuring it passes through both red wheels and the central pole support. Secure the back supports to the base using the provided hardware.

- Assemble the Pole Sections:
Connect the metal pole sections. The pole features multiple preset holes for height adjustment. For initial setup, you may choose the lowest setting, especially for younger users.

- Attach the Net to the Rim:
Carefully attach the net to the rim. Ensure each loop of the net is securely fastened to the corresponding hooks on the rim.
- Mount the Backboard and Rim:
Attach the backboard and the assembled rim to the top pole section. Ensure all connections are tight and secure. The backboard should face away from the base.

- Fill the Base for Stability:
For added safety and stability, fill the base with either water or sand. The base has a maximum capacity of 8.7 gallons (water). Do not move the base when it is filled. If relocation is necessary, tilt the hoop onto its wheels before moving.

Operating Instructions
Height Adjustment
The Yaheetech Kids Basketball Hoop features an adjustable height mechanism to accommodate players of various ages and skill levels. The overall height of the basketball hoop can be adjusted from 7ft to 9ft, with the hoop height adjustable from 5.6ft to 7.5ft.
- Loosen the adjustment knob on the pole.
