4.3 Connecting the Charging Base

Place the charging base on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface. Plug the power cord of the charging base into a suitable electrical outlet. The indicator light on the base will illuminate, indicating it is ready.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Preparing for Ironing

  1. Sort laundry according to fabric type (e.g., linen, cotton, wool, silk, synthetics).
  2. Check garment labels for recommended ironing temperatures.
  3. Place the iron onto the charging base.
  4. Set the temperature control dial to the desired setting for your fabric. The indicator light on the iron will show it is heating.
  5. Wait for the iron to reach the selected temperature. The indicator light will change or turn off when ready.

5.2 Cordless Ironing

Once the iron is heated, lift it from the charging base. You can now iron freely without the cord. When the iron cools down during use, simply place it back on the charging base for a few seconds to reheat. The base will lock the iron securely, allowing for convenient reheating.

5.3 Steam Ironing

Steam ironing is suitable for most fabrics except delicate ones like silk or synthetics. Ensure the water tank is filled.

  1. Set the temperature control dial to a steam-appropriate setting (usually cotton or linen).
  2. Once the iron is hot, move the steam control lever to the desired steam level (MEDIUM or MAX).
  3. Iron as usual. For stubborn wrinkles, press the Steam Shot button for an extra burst of steam.

5.4 Dry Ironing

For dry ironing, ensure the water tank is empty or the steam control lever is set to "OFF". Set the temperature control dial to the appropriate setting for your fabric.

5.5 Spray Function

Press the Spray Button to release a fine mist of water, which helps to dampen fabrics and ease wrinkle removal. This function can be used with both dry and steam ironing.

5.6 Vertical Steam

The iron can be used for vertical steaming of hanging garments, curtains, or drapes. Hold the iron vertically, ensure the temperature is set to a high steam setting, and press the Steam Shot button repeatedly. Keep a safe distance from the fabric.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your iron.

6.1 Cleaning the Soleplate

  • Allow the iron to cool completely.
  • Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner, if necessary.
  • Do not use metallic scourers or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the ceramic coating.

6.2 Anti-Calc Function

The iron features an integrated anti-calc system to reduce mineral build-up. For optimal performance, perform the self-clean function periodically.

6.3 Self-Clean Procedure

  1. Fill the water tank to the MAX line.
  2. Set the steam control to "OFF" and the temperature dial to MAX.
  3. Place the iron on its charging base and allow it to heat until the indicator light shows it's ready.
  4. Unplug the iron from the power outlet.
  5. Hold the iron horizontally over a sink.
  6. Press and hold the Self-Clean button. Hot water and steam will be expelled from the soleplate, flushing out mineral deposits.
  7. Gently shake the iron back and forth until the water tank is empty.
  8. Release the Self-Clean button.
  9. Reheat the iron on its base to dry the soleplate.

6.4 Storage

After use, empty any remaining water from the tank. Allow the iron to cool completely before storing it in an upright position on its base in a dry, safe place.
