Setup and Installation
Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging materials, including the base and any adhesive tape. Inspect the refrigerator for any damage. Keep packaging materials away from children.
Placement
- Place the refrigerator on a flat, solid surface strong enough to support it when fully loaded.
- Allow at least 4 inches of space between the back and sides of the refrigerator and the wall for proper air circulation.
- Avoid placing the appliance in direct sunlight or near heat sources like stoves or heaters.
- Ensure the refrigerator is level by adjusting the leveling feet. This helps with door alignment and proper operation.
- The door hinges are reversible (from left to right by default), allowing for flexible placement in your kitchen layout. Refer to the separate door reversal instructions if needed.
Electrical Connection
Connect the refrigerator to a dedicated, properly grounded 120V, 60Hz AC outlet. Do not use an extension cord or adapter. Ensure the power cord is not pinched or damaged.
Initial Operation
After installation, allow the refrigerator to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle. Once plugged in, set the temperature control to the recommended setting and allow the appliance to cool for several hours before loading food.
Operating Instructions
Temperature Control
The refrigerator features an adjustable electrical thermostat control. Locate the control dial, typically inside the fresh food compartment or freezer. Adjust the dial to your desired cooling level. Higher numbers usually indicate colder temperatures. Allow several hours for the temperature to stabilize after adjustment.
Storage Recommendations
- Fresh Food Compartment: Store fruits and vegetables in the crystal crisper drawer to maintain freshness. Utilize the removable glass shelves for dairy, meats, and beverages.
- Freezer Compartment: Ideal for frozen foods. Ensure packages are sealed to prevent freezer burn.
Adjustable Shelves and Drawers
The glass shelves can be adjusted to different heights to accommodate various food items. To adjust, carefully lift the shelf and reposition it into the desired slots. The crisper drawer is designed for optimal humidity for produce.

Maintenance
Cleaning
- Interior: Unplug the refrigerator before cleaning. Wash the interior surfaces with a solution of warm water and baking soda (2 tablespoons baking soda to 1 quart of water). Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Exterior: Clean the exterior with a mild detergent and warm water. Wipe dry with a soft cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Door Gaskets: Clean door gaskets regularly to ensure a proper seal.
Defrosting
This refrigerator features a frost-free defrost system, eliminating the need for manual defrosting in the freezer compartment. However, occasional light frost may appear, which can be wiped away with a soft cloth.
Power Outage
In case of a power outage, keep the refrigerator doors closed as much as possible to maintain internal temperature. Food should remain frozen for approximately 24 hours if the doors are kept closed.
Moving the Appliance
Before moving, remove all food and secure all loose items inside. Unplug the power cord. Transport the refrigerator in an upright position to prevent damage to the cooling system.
