Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using the appliance. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Electrical Safety: Ensure the voltage matches your power supply. Do not immerse the top unit (containing electrical components) in water or any other liquid. Always unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning.
  • Hot Surfaces: The appliance generates heat and steam during operation. Always use oven mitts or gloves when handling hot parts. The glass bowl and internal accessories will be hot.
  • Automatic Shut-off: The air fryer is engineered for safety and automatically shuts off when the handle is lifted. Cooking resumes upon lowering the handle.
  • Placement: Place the appliance on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from walls and other appliances to allow for proper ventilation. Ensure the base securely holds the glass cylinder and protects countertops from high temperatures.
  • Children and Pets: Keep the appliance out of reach of children and pets. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used near children.

  • Top Unit: Contains the heating element, fan, and control panel (timer and temperature knobs).

Setup and First Use

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Cleaning: Before first use, wash the glass bowl, grill racks, steam rack, and food clip with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the top unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the top unit in water.
  3. Assembly:
    • Place the glass bowl securely onto the base/bracket.
    • Insert the desired grill rack or steam rack into the glass bowl.
    • If additional capacity is needed, place the expansion ring on top of the glass bowl before placing the top unit.
    • Carefully place the top unit onto the glass bowl (or expansion ring). Ensure it sits flush and is stable.
  4. Initial Burn-off: For the first use, it is recommended to run the appliance empty for about 10-15 minutes at 350°F (175°C) to burn off any manufacturing residues. Ensure good ventilation during this process.

Operating Instructions

The TBVECHI Air Fryer Convection Oven features simple knob controls for temperature and time settings.

  1. Prepare Food: Place your food on the appropriate rack inside the glass bowl. Do not overfill.
  2. Set Temperature: Turn the Temperature knob to your desired cooking temperature. The range is 140-482°F (60-250°C).
  3. Set Timer: Turn the Timer knob to the desired cooking time, up to 60 minutes. The appliance will begin heating once the timer is set.
  4. Indicator Lights:
    • The POWER indicator light will illuminate when the unit is plugged in and the timer is set.
    • The HEAT indicator light will illuminate when the heating element is active and will cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.
  5. Monitoring Cooking: The transparent glass bowl allows you to monitor your food without opening the unit.
  6. Automatic Shut-off: If you need to check or flip food during cooking, lift the handle on the top unit. The appliance will automatically pause operation. Lower the handle to resume cooking.
  7. Completion: Once the timer reaches "Off," the appliance will automatically shut off and a bell will sound. Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
  8. Removing Food: Carefully lift the top unit and place it on a heat-resistant surface. Use the provided food clip or oven mitts to remove the hot racks and food.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your appliance.

  • Always Unplug: Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely.
  • Glass Bowl and Accessories: The glass bowl, grill racks, steam rack, and food clip are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, they can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  • Top Unit: Wipe the exterior of the top unit with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent. NEVER immerse the top unit in water or any other liquid.
  • Interior of Top Unit: Gently wipe the interior of the top unit, including the heating element and fan guard, with a damp cloth. Ensure no water drips into the electrical components.
  • Storage: Store the clean and dry appliance in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your appliance, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
