4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge the pedal. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the pedal and to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port. The indicator light will show charging status and turn off when fully charged.

4.2 Bluetooth Connection (for Tablets/Phones)
- Ensure the pedal is charged.
- Locate the operating system switch on the side of the pedal. Slide it to the appropriate position for your device: iOS (Apple icon) for iPhones/iPads or Android (Android icon) for Android tablets/phones.
- Turn on the pedal by sliding the power switch to the desired OS mode. The Bluetooth indicator light will begin to blink, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- On your tablet or phone, go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
- Select "LEKATO_TURNER" (or similar name) from the list to pair. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light on the pedal will become solid.

4.3 Connecting to LEKATO Looper Station (External Pedal Function)
The pedal can also function as an external control for compatible LEKATO looper stations (e.g., LOOP STAGE & LOOP AUTO) via Bluetooth or a TRS cable connection.
- Ensure both the page turner pedal and the looper station are powered on.
- For wireless connection, ensure the page turner is in the correct OS mode (iOS/Android) and the looper station's Bluetooth is active. They should automatically connect. The indicator lights on both devices will turn blue when linked.
- Alternatively, connect the page turner to the looper station using a 1/4" (6.35mm) TRS stereo cable via the dedicated TRS output interface on the page turner.

5. Operation
5.1 Page Turning/Scrolling
The pedal features two footswitches, typically used for "next" and "previous" actions. The functionality depends on the application and the selected mode (Landscape or Portrait).
- Landscape Mode: Pressing the left footswitch typically moves to the previous page/section (left arrow). Pressing the right footswitch moves to the next page/section (right arrow).
- Portrait Mode: Pressing the left footswitch typically scrolls up (up arrow). Pressing the right footswitch scrolls down (down arrow).
To switch between Landscape and Portrait modes, press and hold the corresponding footswitch for a few seconds until the indicator light changes. The "Landscape" and "Portrait" indicator lights on the pedal will show the currently active mode.

5.2 Looper Control (External Pedal)
When connected to a compatible LEKATO looper station, the footswitches can control specific functions:
- Next/Previous Loop: Typically, one footswitch will advance to the next loop, and the other will go back to the previous loop. Refer to your looper station's manual for specific assignments.
- Tuner Control: The pedal can assist with looper tuning functions. Consult your looper station's manual for details on how to activate and use this feature with an external pedal.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the pedal. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge regularly, especially if the device will not be used for an extended period.
