4. Setup and Installation

The Fix-Clip attachment system allows for quick and easy installation and removal.

1. Prepare the Toilet Bowl: Ensure the toilet bowl's mounting holes are clean and free of debris.
2. Assemble Fix-Clip: Insert the Fix-Clip stainless steel attachments into the mounting holes of the toilet bowl. The attachment system is designed for variable adjustment to fit common toilet types.
3. Add Rubber Insert: Place the additional rubber insert onto the Fix-Clip attachment points on the toilet bowl. This helps prevent the toilet seat from slipping.
4. Attach Toilet Seat: Align the toilet seat's hinges with the Fix-Clip attachments. Press down firmly until the seat clips securely into place. The 1-button Fix-Clip system allows for easy attachment.
5. Test Stability: Gently try to move the seat to ensure it is firmly attached and does not wobble. Adjust the Fix-Clip attachments if necessary.

5. Operating Instructions

The WENKO Ikaria toilet seat features an integrated Easy-Close automatic soft-closing mechanism.

• To close the lid or seat ring, simply push it down gently. The Easy-Close mechanism will engage, allowing the lid and ring to lower softly and silently without slamming.
• This slow lowering action also helps prevent accidental finger pinching and protects the seat from damage.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning will maintain the hygienic properties and appearance of your toilet seat.

• Daily Cleaning: Use a mild soap solution and a soft cloth to wipe down the seat and lid. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly.
• Deep Cleaning: For thorough cleaning, the entire seat can be easily detached from the Fix-Clip system by pressing the 1-button release. This allows access to clean the toilet bowl rim and the underside of the seat.
• Avoid: Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, strong acids, or alkaline cleaning agents, as these can damage the duroplast surface and stainless steel fixings.
• The antibacterial duroplast surface is scratch-resistant and easy to clean, providing additional hygiene.

7. Troubleshooting

• Seat wobbles or slides: Ensure the Fix-Clip attachments are securely tightened. Verify that the rubber insert is correctly positioned between the seat and the toilet bowl.
• Soft-close mechanism not working: Check for any obstructions in the hinge area. Ensure the seat is correctly installed on the Fix-Clip system. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
• Difficulty detaching seat: Ensure the 1-button release on the Fix-Clip system is fully engaged when attempting to detach the seat.
