The radio features an intuitive control layout. The front panel includes a 2.4-inch color LCD for clear information display. Navigation is primarily done using the central OK button and surrounding directional arrows. Additional buttons include Home (to return to the main menu), EQ (for equalizer settings), and Sleep (for setting the sleep timer). On the top, you will find the Power button, three preset buttons (1, 2, 3) for quick access to favorite stations, and a rotary Volume knob. The rear panel houses the USB-C charging port and a 3.5mm audio output/headphone jack.
Setup Guide
1. Initial Power On and Charging
- Connect the supplied USB-C power cable to the DC IN 5V port on the rear of the radio and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a powered USB port.
- Allow the radio to charge fully before first use. The LCD will display a battery charging symbol, and an LED indicator will show red during charging and green when fully charged.
- Press and hold the Power button on the top of the radio to turn it on.
2. Wi-Fi Network Connection
- Upon first power-on, the radio will guide you through the initial setup, including language selection and network configuration.
- Select "Network Wizard" or navigate to "Settings" > "Network" > "Wi-Fi Network".
- The radio will scan for available Wi-Fi networks. Select your desired network from the list.
- Enter your Wi-Fi password using the on-screen keyboard and navigation buttons. Press OK to confirm each character and then to connect.
- Once connected, the Wi-Fi signal strength indicator will appear on the display.
3. Time and Date Setting
The radio typically synchronizes time and date automatically via the internet once connected to Wi-Fi. If manual adjustment is needed, navigate to "Settings" > "System Settings" > "Time/Date".
Operating Instructions
1. Internet Radio
- From the main menu, select "Internet Radio".
- You can browse stations by location, genre, or use the search function.
- Use the directional buttons to navigate and OK to select.
- To save a station to your favorites, press the Heart button (or equivalent on-screen option) while the station is playing. You can store up to 99 favorite stations.
- Access your favorite stations by selecting "My Favourite" from the Internet Radio menu.
2. FM Radio
- Extend the telescopic antenna fully for optimal reception.
- From the main menu, select "FM Radio".
- The radio will automatically scan for available FM stations.
- Use the directional buttons to tune to different stations.
- Save FM stations to presets using the numbered buttons (1, 2, 3) on the top panel, or through the menu options.
3. Bluetooth Mode
- From the main menu, select "Bluetooth".
- The radio will enter pairing mode, indicated on the display.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet), search for "WR-23D" in the Bluetooth settings and pair with it.
- Once connected, audio from your device will play through the radio's speaker.

4. UPnP/DLNA Player
If you have a UPnP/DLNA server on your network (e.g., a computer running media server software), you can stream audio files directly to the WR-23D. Navigate to "Media Player" or "UPnP/DLNA" in the main menu, select your server, and browse for music.
5. Sleep Timer
To set a sleep timer, press the Sleep button (ZzZ icon) on the front panel. Repeatedly press the button to cycle through available sleep times (e.g., 15, 30, 60, 90 minutes, Off). The radio will automatically power off after the selected duration.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
- Wipe the radio's exterior with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.
