1. Setup

1.1 Unpacking and Included Components

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure the following items are present:

  • 1N Keyboard Piano
  • Power Adapter
  • Key Note Stickers
  • Music Sheet Stand

1.2 Power Connection

The keyboard can be powered using the included AC adapter or 6 "AA" batteries (not included).

  • Using the AC Adapter: Connect the power adapter to the DC 9V jack on the rear panel of the keyboard. Plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet.
  • Using Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard. Insert 6 "AA" batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.

1.3 Music Sheet Stand Installation

Insert the music sheet stand into the designated slots on the top panel of the keyboard. Ensure it is firmly seated to hold your music sheets securely.

1.4 Key Note Stickers Application

The included keynote stickers are designed to assist with learning. Carefully apply them to the corresponding keys as indicated on the sticker sheet. This visual aid helps in identifying notes and speeds up memory retention.

1.5 Connecting Peripherals

  • Microphone Jack: Connect a microphone to the Microphone Jack for vocal input.
  • Headphone/Output Jack: Connect headphones to the Phone/Output Jack for private practice, or use it to connect to external amplification systems.
  • Audio Input Jack: Connect an external audio source (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to play along with your favorite music.
  • UDisk Jack: Insert a USB disk (not included) for music playback functions.

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Power On/Off

Locate the Power button on the control panel. Press it to turn the keyboard on or off.

2.2 LCD Digital Display

The clear LCD display provides visual feedback on selected Timbres, Rhythms, Demo Songs, tempo, and learning mode indicators. It helps in memorizing notes and fingering during learning exercises.

2.3 Volume Control

  • Master Volume: Adjusts the overall output volume of the keyboard.
  • Accompaniment Volume: Controls the volume level of the rhythm and accompaniment tracks independently.

2.5 Rhythms (Accompaniment Styles)

Choose from 255 Rhythms to add automatic accompaniment to your playing. Select a rhythm using the dedicated buttons, and it will be indicated on the LCD.

2.6 Demonstration Songs

The keyboard includes 50 Demonstration Songs. Press the "Demo Song" button and use the number keys to select a song for playback.

2.7 Keyboard Percussion

Activate the Keyboard Percussion function to assign various drum and percussion sounds to the keys, allowing you to play drum patterns directly on the keyboard.

2.8 Learning Functions (One-Key / Follow / Ensemble)

  • One-Key Function: Select a demo song. The keyboard will play the song, and you can press any key to advance the melody, focusing on rhythm and timing without worrying about correct notes.
  • Follow Function: The keyboard waits for you to play the correct note before proceeding with the song. This helps in learning the melody accurately.
  • Ensemble Function: Play the main melody while the keyboard provides the background accompaniment, allowing you to practice playing along with a full musical arrangement.

2.9 Chord Functions (Single Finger / Fingered Chord)

  • Single Finger Chord: Play full chords by pressing a single key in the lower section of the keyboard.
  • Fingered Chord: Play chords by pressing the appropriate combination of keys, typically 1-3-5 for triad chords in root position.

2.10 Tempo Control

Adjust the speed of rhythms and demo songs using the Tempo control buttons. This allows you to practice at a comfortable pace.

2.11 Rhythm Programming Function

Create and store your own rhythm patterns using the Rhythm Programming function. Refer to the on-screen instructions for detailed steps.

2.12 Record & Playback

Use the Record function to capture your performances. The Playback function allows you to listen to your recorded music, aiding in self-assessment and improvement.

2.13 Sustain / Vibrato

  • Sustain: Extends the decay of notes, creating a longer, lingering sound.
  • Vibrato: Adds a slight, rapid fluctuation in pitch to notes, enhancing expressiveness.

3. Maintenance

3.1 Cleaning

To clean the keyboard, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water and a mild soap solution, then wipe dry immediately. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or waxes, as these can damage the finish.

3.2 Storage

Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity. If storing for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.

3.3 Battery Replacement

When the keyboard's performance degrades or it fails to power on with batteries, replace all 6 "AA" batteries simultaneously. Ensure correct polarity when inserting new batteries. Dispose of used batteries responsibly.
