3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Contents

3.2 Placement
Place the main unit and speakers on a flat, stable surface. For optimal sound quality, position the speakers equidistant from the main unit and at ear level when seated. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating.

3.3 Connecting the Speakers

3.4 Connecting the FM Antenna

4.3 Power On/Off
Press the Power button () on the main unit or remote control to turn the system on or off (standby mode).
4.4 Source Selection
Press the SOURCE button on the main unit or the dedicated source buttons (CD, Bluetooth, FM, USB, AUDIO IN) on the remote control to switch between different audio sources.
4.5 CD Playback
- Press the CD button on the remote or select CD source.
- Press the EJECT button () to open the CD tray.
- Place a CD or MP3-CD with the label side facing up into the tray.
- Press the EJECT button again to close the tray. The system will start playing automatically or display the track list.
- Use PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, SKIP, and FAST FORWARD/REWIND buttons for playback control.

4.6 Bluetooth Pairing
- Press the Bluetooth button on the remote or select Bluetooth source. The display will show 'BT' and start blinking, indicating pairing mode.
- On your Bluetooth device (e.g., smartphone), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select 'PHILIPS TAM4505' from the list.
- Once paired, the system will confirm the connection, and you can stream audio from your device.
4.7 FM Radio Tuning
- Press the FM button on the remote or select FM source.
- Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button for automatic station search and storage.
- Alternatively, use the SKIP buttons to manually tune to a frequency.
- Press PROG to store a station to a preset number.
4.8 USB Playback
- Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port on the front of the main unit.
