2. Window Kit Installation

The window kit is designed for most standard sliding windows. For casement or crank windows, a DIY solution using plexiglass may be required.

For Sliding Windows:

  1. Measure your window opening.
  2. Adjust the window bracket panels (Part A and Part B) to fit the width or height of your window. The bracket is adjustable from 16.5 inches (42 cm) to 47 inches (120 cm).
  3. Secure the adjusted bracket in the window opening.
  4. Apply foam seals as needed to ensure an airtight fit.

For Casement/Crank Windows:

  1. Measure your window.
  2. Cut a clear-colored plexiglass panel to the same size as your window.
  3. Cut a hole in the plexiglass panel with a diameter matching the exhaust hose.
  4. Install the plexiglass panel in your window opening.

3. Exhaust Hose Connection

  1. Extend the exhaust hose (10.23 inches to 47 inches / 26 cm to 120 cm).
  2. Attach one end of the exhaust hose to the air outlet on the back of the unit.
  3. Attach the other end of the exhaust hose to the opening in the window bracket.
  4. Ensure the hose is not sharply bent or kinked, as this can restrict airflow and reduce efficiency.

4. Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a grounded 115 Volt, 60 Hz electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords.

  1. Turn off and unplug the air conditioner.
  2. Locate the filter access panel (usually on the back or side of the unit).
  3. Remove the filter.
  4. Rinse the filter under running water until clean. For heavy dust, a mild detergent can be used.

2. Water Drainage

The unit collects condensate water during operation. It features a self-evaporation system, but in high humidity conditions, manual drainage may be required.

Continuous Drainage (Dehumidify Mode):

Connect the provided drain tube to the continuous drain port on the back of the unit. Route the tube to a floor drain or a suitable container. This is recommended for extended dehumidification.

Manual Drainage:

When the internal water tank is full, the unit will stop operating and display an error code. Turn off the unit, place a shallow pan under the drain port, and remove the drain plug to empty the water. Reinsert the plug securely.

3. Storage

Before storing the unit for an extended period:

  • Drain all condensate water completely.
  • Clean the air filter.
  • Run the unit in Fan mode for a few hours to dry the interior.
  • Unplug the power cord and coil it neatly.
  • Store the unit in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.
