3. Setup
3.1 Powering the Main Unit
- Insert 3 x AA LR6 batteries (not included) into the battery compartment of the main unit, observing polarity.
- Connect the included 5.0V AC power adapter to the main unit and then plug it into a wall outlet. The display will illuminate.
Note: Batteries serve as a backup power source in case of a power outage. For continuous display illumination and optimal performance, the AC adapter is recommended.
3.2 Powering the Remote Sensor
- Open the battery compartment of the remote outdoor sensor.
- Insert 2 x AA batteries (not included), observing polarity.
- Close the battery compartment securely.
3.3 Sensor Placement
For accurate outdoor readings, place the remote sensor in a shaded, dry location, protected from direct sunlight and precipitation. Ensure it is within the 433 MHz wireless transmission range of the main unit (typically up to 100 meters in open air).
3.4 Initial Synchronization
After powering both units, the weather station will automatically attempt to connect with the remote sensor and receive radio-controlled time signals. This process may take several minutes. Ensure both units are within close proximity during initial setup.
3.5 Time and Date Settings
The weather station features radio-controlled time and date synchronization. If the signal is not received or you wish to adjust manually:
- DCF On/Off: You can enable or disable the DCF radio control function. Refer to the specific buttons on your device for this setting.
- Time Zone: Adjust the time zone by +/- 12 hours to match your local region.
- Format: Select between 12-hour or 24-hour time display.
- Calendar: The display shows month, day, and date.

4.2 Temperature and Humidity Readings
The station displays both indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity. You can switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) units.
- Indoor Temperature: Range from 0°C to 37°C (32°F to 99°F). Precision: +/- 1°C. Resolution: 1°C.
- Indoor Humidity: Range from 1% to 99% RH. Resolution: 1% RH.
- Outdoor Temperature: Range from -40°C to 60°C (-40°F to 140°F). Precision: +/- 1°C (0-50°C), +/- 1.5°C (-40-0°C and 50-60°C). Resolution: 1°C.
The station records and displays Min/Max values for both temperature and humidity. It also features High and Low Alerts, which can be set to notify you when readings exceed or fall below your specified thresholds.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Battery Replacement
Replace batteries in both the main unit and the remote sensor when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Always replace all batteries in a unit at the same time with new ones of the same type.
5.2 Cleaning
Wipe the weather station and sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the display or casing.
5.3 Sensor Care
Periodically check the remote sensor for any debris or obstructions that might affect its readings. Ensure its placement remains optimal for accurate data collection.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Display / Dim Display: Ensure the AC adapter is securely plugged in. If using batteries, check their charge and polarity.
- Outdoor Sensor Not Connecting:
- Check batteries in the remote sensor.
- Ensure the sensor is within range (max 100m line of sight) and free from major obstructions (thick walls, metal objects).
- Try bringing the sensor closer to the main unit for a few minutes to re-establish connection.
- Perform a manual re-synchronization (refer to device-specific instructions for button presses).
- Inaccurate Readings:
- Ensure the outdoor sensor is not in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
- Verify that the main unit is not placed near heat-emitting appliances indoors.
- Allow up to 7-14 days for the weather forecast to calibrate after initial setup.
- Time/Date Not Synchronizing: Ensure the DCF function is enabled. Place the main unit near a window for better signal reception. Check your time zone setting.
