- Battery Life: Up to 13 hours of continuous use with the lightest backlight setting, and up to 360 hours standby time.
- To preserve battery life, the keyboard features an auto-sleep mode.
Troubleshooting
- Keyboard not responding in Wired Mode:
Ensure the switch on the back of the keyboard is set to "OFF" and the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer. Try a different USB port or cable.
- Unable to pair via Bluetooth:
Ensure the keyboard's switch is "ON" and the cable is disconnected. Long-press FN + Q/W/E until the key flashes rapidly. Make sure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and visible. Try forgetting the device on your computer/phone and re-pairing. Ensure the keyboard battery has sufficient charge.
- Keys not registering or double-typing:
This could be due to a loose switch. If your model is hot-swappable, carefully remove the keycap and switch, then re-insert the switch firmly. If the issue persists, try replacing the switch. Ensure the keyboard firmware is up to date if applicable.
- Backlight not working or stuck:
Check backlight brightness settings using FN + [ { and FN + ] }. Try cycling through backlight modes with FN + \ |. If issues persist, perform a factory reset (long press FN + Spacebar).
- Keyboard not recognized by programmable software:
Ensure the keyboard is connected in wired mode. Close and reopen the software. Restart your computer. Download the latest version of the software from the official RK ROYAL KLUDGE website.
