Troubleshooting

Device Does Not Power On

  • Check Battery: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a USB charger and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
  • Power Button: Ensure you are pressing the Power / Measurement button firmly.

Inaccurate Measurements

  • Clear Line of Sight: Ensure there are no obstructions between the rangefinder and the target.
  • Target Surface: Measurements may be less accurate on highly reflective or very dark surfaces.
  • Stability: Hold the device steady. For long distances, consider using a tripod with the 1/4-inch screw hole.
  • Weather Conditions: Heavy rain, fog, or dust can affect laser performance.
  • Lens Cleanliness: Ensure the lenses are clean and free from smudges or dirt.

Display is Unclear

  • Diopter Adjustment: Rotate the eyepiece to adjust the diopter until the display is sharp for your vision.
  • Lens Cleanliness: Clean the eyepiece and objective lenses.

Cannot Lock onto Flag (Flag Lock Mode)

  • Scanning Technique: Ensure you are slowly scanning across the flagstick while holding the measurement button.
  • Distance: Flag lock works best within a certain range. If the flag is too far or too close, it might be difficult to lock.
  • Background: A cluttered background might interfere. Try to isolate the flag as much as possible.
