Model: WG911 | Brand: WORX
Product Overview
This kit includes a 40V lawn mower and a 20V grass trimmer, designed for efficient and convenient lawn care. The 2-in-1 bag & mulch 40V lawn mower offers the power of traditional mowers without the drawbacks of gas, providing a quieter, more efficient, and cleaner operation. The grass trimmer quickly converts to an edger, offering versatile functionality.
Key Features:
- POWER SHARE KIT INCLUDES: 40V 17" lawn mower, 20V 12" grass trimmer, (2) 20V 4.0Ah batteries and dual charging port.
- TRIMMER & EDGER 2-IN-1: Easily converts from a string trimmer to a wheel edger in just seconds.
- INSTANT LINE FEED: Innovative push button command feed spool system for instant line feeding. Plus, free spools for life.
- TRIMMER HEAD TILTS 90°: So you can trim and edge on sloped terrain, and get to tough-to-reach places.
- MOWER - TORQUE ON DEMAND: Patented Intellicut technology adds power when the grass gets thicker, then allows you to dial it back down to conserve battery.
- 6 CUTTING HEIGHTS: The single-lever adjustment lets you pick the right height to accommodate different seasons and different preferences.
- CUTS TO THE EDGE: The cut-to-edge design gets closer than other mowers to fences and landmarks on your lawn, for less trimming lawn.
Setup and Assembly
Your WORX WG911 combo is designed for quick and easy assembly. Follow these steps to get started:
- Handle Assembly: Attach the upper handle to the lower handle, ensuring all bolts and knobs are securely tightened. The handle can be folded for compact storage.
- Battery Installation: The mower requires two 20V batteries for 40V power. Lift the battery compartment lid on the mower deck and insert the two 20V 4.0Ah batteries until they click into place. Ensure they are fully charged before first use.
- Grass Trimmer Assembly: Assemble the two sections of the trimmer shaft. Attach the guard and handle as per the instructions provided in the trimmer's specific manual.
- Charging Batteries: Use the included dual-port charger to charge both batteries simultaneously. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your WORX tools.
- Cleaning: After each use, clean the mower deck and trimmer head to remove grass clippings and debris. Use a damp cloth; do not use high-pressure water directly on electrical components.
- Blade Care (Mower): Regularly inspect the mower blade for sharpness and damage. A dull blade can tear grass, leading to an unhealthy lawn. Sharpen or replace the blade as needed.
- Trimmer Line Replacement: Replace the trimmer line spool when it runs out. Refer to the trimmer's specific manual for detailed instructions on line replacement.
- Battery Storage: Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. For long-term storage, charge batteries to about 50% capacity.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your WORX WG911 combo, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:
- Tool Not Starting: Ensure batteries are fully charged and properly inserted. Check that the safety key (if applicable) is fully engaged and the bail lever/trigger is correctly activated.
- Reduced Power/Runtime: This may indicate low battery charge. Recharge batteries fully. If issues persist, batteries may need replacement.
- Poor Cutting Performance: Check the mower blade for sharpness and damage. Ensure the cutting height is appropriate for the grass length. For the trimmer, check if the line is feeding correctly or if it needs replacement.
- Excessive Vibration/Noise: Turn off the tool immediately. Inspect the blade/trimmer head for damage or loose components. If unable to identify the cause, contact customer support.
