4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Headphones
Before first use, fully charge the headphones. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours and provides up to 29 hours of playback time. A 15-minute quick charge can provide an additional 8 hours of playback.
- Connect the supplied USB-C cable to the charging port on the headphones.
- Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a powered USB port (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter).
- The LED indicator will illuminate during charging and turn off when charging is complete.

4.2 Bluetooth Pairing
To connect your headphones to a Bluetooth-enabled device:
- Ensure the headphones are charged.
- Press and hold the multifunction button for approximately 3 seconds until the LED indicator flashes blue and red alternately. This indicates pairing mode.
- On your Bluetooth device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "PHILIPS H4205" from the list of found devices.
- Once connected, the LED indicator will flash blue slowly.
- The headphones will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if the device's Bluetooth is active and within range (up to 10 meters).
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the multifunction button for 3 seconds. The LED will flash blue.
- Power Off: Press and hold the multifunction button for 3 seconds. The LED will turn off.
5.2 Music Playback
- Play/Pause: Press the multifunction button once.
- Volume Up: Press the Volume Up button once.
- Volume Down: Press the Volume Down button once.
- Next Track: Press and hold the Volume Up button.
- Previous Track: Press and hold the Volume Down button.
5.3 Call Management
- Answer/End Call: Press the multifunction button once.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the multifunction button for 2 seconds.
5.4 Voice Assistant
- Activate Voice Assistant: Press the multifunction button twice.
