Button Functions:
- Power Button (⏻): Turns the unit on or off.
- SET TIME: Enters time setting mode.
- PRESET: Saves or recalls preset radio stations.
- HR (Hour): Adjusts the hour during time or alarm setting.
- MIN (Minute): Adjusts the minute during time or alarm setting.
- TUN (◀ / ▶): Tunes FM radio frequency.
- VOL (+ / -): Adjusts the volume level.
- AL1 (Alarm 1): Sets or activates Alarm 1.
- AL2 (Alarm 2): Sets or activates Alarm 2.
- SNOOZE/SLEEP: Snoozes an active alarm or activates the sleep timer function.
Setup
1. Power Connection
- Connect the power adapter to the DC IN socket on the back of the clock radio.
- Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
- For backup power, insert 2 x AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment. This will preserve time and alarm settings during a power outage.
2. Setting the Time
- Ensure the unit is powered on.
- Press and hold the SET TIME button until the hour digits begin to flash on the display.
- Press the HR button repeatedly to set the hour.
- Press the MIN button repeatedly to set the minute.
- Press the SET TIME button again to confirm and exit time setting mode.
3. Setting Alarms (AL1 and AL2)
The clock radio features two independent alarms, AL1 and AL2.
- Press and hold the AL1 or AL2 button until the hour digits for that alarm begin to flash.
- Press the HR button to set the desired alarm hour.
- Press the MIN button to set the desired alarm minute.
- Press the AL1 or AL2 button again to confirm the alarm time.
- Immediately after setting the time, press the AL1 or AL2 button repeatedly to cycle through alarm modes:
- FM: Wake up to FM radio.
- Buzzer: Wake up to a standard buzzer sound.
- OFF: Turn the alarm off.
- The corresponding alarm indicator (AL1 or AL2) will light up on the display when the alarm is active.
4. FM Radio Tuning and Presets
- Manual Tuning: Press the TUN ◀ or TUN ▶ buttons to manually tune to a desired FM frequency.
- Automatic Scan: Press and hold the TUN ◀ or TUN ▶ buttons to automatically scan for the next available station.
- Saving Presets:
- Tune to the desired station.
- Press and hold the PRESET button until the preset number flashes on the display.
- Use the TUN ◀ or TUN ▶ buttons to select the desired preset number (P01-P10).
- Press the PRESET button again to confirm and save the station.
- Recalling Presets: Briefly press the PRESET button to cycle through your saved stations.
Operating
1. Using the Alarms
- When an alarm sounds, it will gradually increase in volume (Gentle Wake function).
- To stop the alarm for 24 hours, press the Power button. The alarm will reactivate at the same time the next day.
- To completely deactivate an alarm, follow the "Setting Alarms" steps and select "OFF" for the desired alarm.
2. Snooze Function
- When an alarm is sounding, press the large SNOOZE/SLEEP button. The alarm will pause for approximately 9 minutes and then sound again.
3. Sleep Timer
- While the radio is playing, press the SNOOZE/SLEEP button repeatedly to cycle through the sleep timer options (e.g., 120, 90, 60, 30, 15 minutes, OFF).
- The radio will automatically turn off after the selected duration.
4. Adjusting Volume
- Press the VOL + button to increase the volume.
- Press the VOL - button to decrease the volume.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface of the clock radio. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: If the backup batteries are depleted, replace them with new AAA batteries to ensure time and alarm settings are saved during power interruptions.
- Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, disconnect it from power and remove the backup batteries.
Troubleshooting
