2. Important Safety Instructions

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, injury, or damage, always follow basic safety precautions.

  • This appliance operates without an open flame or gas, offering a safer cooking method compared to traditional stoves.
  • The cooktop features a Child Safety Lock. Activate this function to prevent accidental operation by children.
  • An Automatic Shut-Off feature is integrated for safety. If no input is given on the control panel for 120 minutes, or if cookware is removed and not detected for 60 seconds, the cooktop will automatically turn off.
  • The ceramic plate remains hot after use. Do not touch the surface immediately after cooking.
  • Ensure the appliance is placed on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface.
  • Do not immerse the cooktop in water or any other liquid.
  • Always unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning.

4. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the cooktop from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the induction cooktop on a dry, stable, level, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit, especially for the cooling fan located underneath. Avoid placing it near heat sources or flammable materials.
  3. Power Connection: Plug the cooktop into a standard 110V electrical outlet.
  4. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the ceramic glass surface with a damp cloth to remove any dust or residue. Ensure the surface is completely dry before plugging in.

5. Operating Instructions

The CUSIMAX Induction Cooktop features a sensor touch control panel for easy operation.

5.1 Basic Operation

  1. Place Cookware: Always place compatible magnetic cookware (see Section 6) centrally on the cooking zone before turning on the cooktop.
  2. Power On: Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the cooktop. The digital display will illuminate.
  3. Select Mode: Use the Function button (often labeled 'Menu' or similar) to switch between Power mode (W) and Temperature mode (°F/°C).
  4. Adjust Settings: Use the + and - buttons to adjust the power level (200W to 1800W) or temperature (140°F to 464°F).
  5. Set Timer: Press the Timer button and use the + and - buttons to set the desired cooking time (up to 3 hours).
  6. Child Safety Lock: To activate, press and hold the + and - buttons simultaneously until the lock indicator appears. Repeat to unlock.
  7. Power Off: Press the ON/OFF button to turn off the cooktop after use. The cooling fan may continue to run for a short period.

6. Cookware Compatibility

The CUSIMAX Induction Cooktop is only compatible with magnetic induction cookware. Using incompatible cookware will result in an E0 error code and the unit will automatically shut down after 60 seconds.

6.1 Compatible Cookware Materials:

6.2 Cookware Size:

For optimal performance, the diameter of your cookware should be between 4.7 inches (12 cm) and 10.2 inches (26 cm).

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your cooktop.

  1. Before Cleaning: Always unplug the cooktop from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely.
  2. Cleaning the Surface: The ceramic glass surface is non-stick and easy to clean. Wipe it with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals that could scratch or damage the surface.
  3. Cleaning the Body: Wipe the exterior of the cooktop with a soft, damp cloth. Do not allow water to enter the internal components.
  4. Storage: Store the cooktop in a dry place when not in use.

8. Troubleshooting
