5.2. Operating Modes

The GRL 600 CHV offers various operating modes:

  • Horizontal Mode: Projects a continuous 360° horizontal laser plane. Ideal for general leveling tasks.
  • Vertical Mode: Projects a vertical laser plane. Useful for aligning walls, plumbing, or squaring.
  • Slope Mode: Allows for manual or semi-automatic setting of slopes in X and Y axes.
  • Spot Mode: Projects a single laser dot for precise point transfer.

Use the buttons on the control panel or the RC 6 remote control to switch between modes and adjust settings.

5.3. Using the Laser Receiver (LR 60)

For outdoor use or over long distances, the LR 60 laser receiver is essential:

  1. Turn on the LR 60 receiver.
  2. Move the receiver along the measuring rod in the path of the laser beam.
  3. The display and audible signals on the receiver will indicate when it is precisely at the laser plane.

5.4. Using the Measuring Rod (GR 240)

The GR 240 measuring rod is used in conjunction with the laser receiver to determine height differences and transfer levels.

  • Extend the sections of the measuring rod.
  • Attach the laser receiver to the clamp on the measuring rod.
  • Read the measurement directly from the scale on the rod once the receiver indicates the laser plane.
