2. Safety Information

  • Always place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface to ensure accurate readings.
  • Do not immerse the scale in water. While the surface is waterproof, the internal components are not designed for full submersion.
  • Avoid dropping the scale or subjecting it to strong impacts, as this may damage the precision sensors.
  • Do not overload the scale beyond its maximum capacity of 5 kg (11 lbs). Overloading can cause permanent damage.
  • Keep the scale away from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, and high humidity.
  • Store the scale in a dry place when not in use.
  • Keep batteries out of reach of children. If swallowed, seek immediate medical attention.

4. Setup

  1. Install Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Insert the two included AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment securely.
  2. Placement: Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Uneven surfaces can lead to inaccurate measurements.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Power On/Off

  • To turn on the scale, press the Z/T ON/OFF button. The LCD display will light up and show "0g" or "0ml".
  • To turn off the scale, press and hold the Z/T ON/OFF button for a few seconds.
  • The scale features an automatic shut-off system after 180 seconds (3 minutes) of inactivity to conserve battery life.

5.2. Unit Conversion

  • To switch between different units of measurement, press the UNIT button.
  • The scale supports the following units:
    • Grams (g)
    • Kilograms (kg)
    • Pounds (lb)
    • Ounces (oz)
    • Milliliters (ml) - for water
    • Milliliters (ml) - for milk

5.3. Tare Function

  • The tare function allows you to weigh multiple ingredients in the same container or to exclude the weight of a container.
  • Place an empty container on the scale. The display will show its weight.
  • Press the Z/T ON/OFF button once. The display will reset to "0g".
  • You can now add your ingredient, and only its weight will be measured. Repeat this process for additional ingredients.

5.4. Weighing Items

  • Ensure the scale is on a flat surface and powered on, displaying "0g".
  • Place the item(s) to be weighed directly onto the scale's platform or in a container (using the tare function if needed).
  • The weight will be displayed on the LCD screen.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

  • Cleaning: The stainless steel surface is easy to clean. Wipe the scale with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent and then wipe dry immediately. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water.
  • Storage: Store the scale in a cool, dry place. Its compact size allows for easy storage when not in use.
  • Battery Replacement: When the "LOW" indicator appears on the display, replace both AAA batteries promptly to ensure continued accuracy.

7. Troubleshooting
