2. Important Safety Information
Please read all instructions carefully before using the appliance. Keep this manual for future reference. Always follow basic safety precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against fire, electric shock, and personal injury, do not immerse cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.

4. Setup
4.1 Unboxing and Initial Placement
- Carefully remove the machine and all components from the packaging.
- Place the machine on a stable, flat surface near a power outlet. Ensure there is adequate space around the machine for ventilation and access to the water tank and bean hopper.
- Remove any protective films or packaging materials from the machine.

4.2 Water Hardness Test
Before first use, it is recommended to perform a water hardness test to optimize the machine's descaling frequency.
- Locate the included Total Hardness Test strip.
- Follow the instructions on the test strip packaging to determine your water hardness level.
- Refer to the full User Manual (linked in Section 8) for instructions on how to set the water hardness level on your machine's display.
4.3 Filling the Water Tank and Bean Hopper
- Remove the 1.8L/60oz water tank from the machine.
- Fill the tank with fresh, cold water up to the MAX line.
- Carefully reinsert the water tank into the machine until it clicks into place.
- Open the bean hopper lid located on top of the machine.
- Pour fresh whole coffee beans into the hopper. Do not overfill.
- Close the bean hopper lid securely.

5. Operating the Machine
5.1 Control Panel Overview
The De'Longhi Dinamica features an intuitive LCD display and button interface for easy navigation and drink selection. Familiarize yourself with the icons and options available on the screen.

5.2 Making Espresso and Coffee
- Place a cup under the coffee spouts.
- Select your desired beverage from the display (e.g., Espresso, Coffee).
- The machine will automatically grind the beans and brew your coffee.

5.3 Using the LatteCrema System (Milk Frothing)
- Fill the LatteCrema milk carafe with fresh milk (dairy or alternative).
- Attach the carafe to the machine's milk spout.
- Place a cup under the milk spout and coffee spouts.
- Select a milk-based beverage (e.g., Cappuccino, Latte).
- The LatteCrema System will automatically froth and dispense milk, followed by espresso.

5.4 Customizing Drinks
The machine allows for personalization of your beverages. You can adjust coffee strength, temperature, and milk quantity for many drinks. Use the 'My Menu' feature to save your favorite custom recipes for quick access.
5.5 Using Pre-Ground Coffee
The De'Longhi Dinamica also features a bypass for pre-ground coffee. This is ideal for decaf or different coffee varieties without changing the beans in the main hopper.
- Open the pre-ground coffee funnel (usually located near the bean hopper).
- Add one scoop of pre-ground coffee using the provided measuring scoop. Do not add more than one scoop.
- Select the pre-ground coffee option from the menu before brewing.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
6.1 Daily Cleaning
- Drip Tray: The drip tray should be emptied and cleaned daily. Simply pull it out, discard the water, and wash with warm soapy water. It is dishwasher safe.
- Milk Carafe: After each use, detach the LatteCrema milk carafe and rinse its components thoroughly. The carafe is dishwasher safe. It can also be stored in the refrigerator with milk inside.
6.2 Brew Group Cleaning
The brew group should be removed and rinsed with tap water at least once a month. Refer to the full User Manual for detailed instructions on removing and reinserting the brew group.
6.3 Descaling
The machine will prompt you when descaling is required. Follow the on-screen instructions and use a suitable De'Longhi descaling solution. Regular descaling ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your machine.
