4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your ZHONGJI Smart Touch POS System:

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging.
  2. Position the Main Unit: Place the 15-inch touch screen PC on a stable, flat surface.
  3. Connect Peripherals:
    • Connect the 80MM Thermal Receipt Printer to an available USB port.
    • Connect the Kitchen Printer to an available USB or LAN port as required by your network setup.
    • Connect the Stainless Steel Cash Drawer to the receipt printer's cash drawer port (typically an RJ11/RJ12 connector). The cash drawer will open automatically upon receipt printing.
    • Connect the provided Keyboard and Mouse to available USB ports.
  4. Network Connection: Connect an Ethernet cable from your router/switch to the LAN port on the main POS unit for network access.
  5. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the main POS unit and then to a power outlet.
  6. Initial Boot-up: Press the power button on the main unit. The system will boot into Windows 10.

5.2 Basic Transaction Flow

  1. Select Items: Tap on the desired menu categories (e.g., "Menu A", "Dessert", "Beverages") and then tap on individual items to add them to the order.
  2. Adjust Quantity: Use the numeric keypad or dedicated buttons to adjust the quantity of selected items.
  3. Apply Modifiers/Notes: If applicable, use the "Taste" or "Void Item" functions for specific order modifications.
  4. Process Payment: Once all items are added, tap the "Payments" or "Cash" button. Select the payment method (e.g., Cash, Card).
  5. Complete Transaction: The system will process the payment, print a receipt on the 80MM Thermal Receipt Printer, and open the cash drawer if applicable. Kitchen orders will be sent to the Kitchen Printer.

  • Change Cashier: Allows different users to log in/out.
