4. Setup and Installation

Important: Before starting installation, ensure the power supply to the circuit is turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box. It is recommended to have a qualified electrician perform the installation if you are not experienced with electrical wiring.

Installation Steps:

Turn Off Power: Locate the circuit breaker or fuse box that controls the power to the installation location. Turn off the power completely. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
Prepare Mounting: Remove the existing fixture (if any) and its mounting bracket from the junction box. Install the new mounting bracket (provided) to the junction box using the screws provided. Ensure the bracket is securely fastened.
Adjust Hanging Cord (if applicable): If installing as a pendant, adjust the hanging cord to your desired length. The cord is adjustable up to 39 inches. Secure the cord length within the canopy.
Wire Connections:
- Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black (Live) wire from the junction box using a wire nut.
- Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (Neutral) wire from the junction box using a wire nut.
- Connect the ground wire (bare copper or green) from the fixture to the ground wire from the junction box and the mounting bracket using a wire nut or ground screw.
- Ensure all wire connections are secure and covered with wire nuts. Wrap electrical tape around wire nuts for added security.
Note: Some fixtures may use 'L' for Live and 'N' for Neutral. 'L' corresponds to black, 'N' to white.
Mount the Fixture: Carefully push the wired fixture up towards the mounting bracket, aligning the holes on the canopy with the screws on the bracket. Secure the fixture to the mounting bracket using the decorative nuts or screws provided.
Install Bulb: Screw an E26/E27 base bulb (max 60W, not included) into the socket. Do not overtighten.
Restore Power: Once the fixture is securely installed and the bulb is in place, restore power at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
Test Fixture: Turn on the light switch to test the new chandelier.

5. Operating Instructions

The FRIXCHUR Small Gold Chandelier operates like any standard light fixture. Once properly installed and powered, it can be controlled via a wall switch connected to the circuit.

Turning On/Off: Use the wall switch to turn the chandelier on or off.
Bulb Replacement: To replace the bulb, ensure the power is turned off at the circuit breaker. Allow the bulb to cool completely before unscrewing it. Install a new E26/E27 base bulb (max 60W).
Dimming Functionality: If you wish to use a dimmer switch, ensure both the dimmer switch and the installed bulb are compatible with dimming. Consult a qualified electrician for dimmer switch installation.
