6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your BurgeonNest Pet Heating Pad, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Pad is not heating or indicator lights are off.No power, loose connection, or safety shutdown.Check if the power cord is securely plugged into the outlet. Ensure the power button on the controller is pressed. If the pad recently experienced a power surge or improper use, the high-temperature self-destruct function might have activated. Unplug and re-plug after a few minutes.
Pad feels too hot or too cool.Incorrect temperature setting or pet sensitivity.Adjust the temperature setting using the HEAT button. Remember that pets have different temperature sensitivities than humans. If it feels too warm for your pet, try a lower setting or place a thin towel over the pad to diffuse the heat.
Pad turns off unexpectedly.Timer activated or safety shutdown.Check the timer setting. If a timer was set, the pad will automatically power off when the time expires. If no timer was set, the high-temperature self-destruct function may have been triggered due to overheating. Allow the pad to cool down before attempting to restart.
Power cord appears damaged.Wear and tear or pet chewing.Despite the chew-resistant design, inspect the cord regularly. If any damage is visible, discontinue use immediately and contact customer support for assistance. Do not attempt to repair the cord yourself.
