Maintenance and Care
- Storage: Store cables in a clean, dry place away from extreme temperatures.
- Cleaning: If necessary, gently wipe the cable with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Handling: Avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling on the cable, especially near the connectors, to prevent damage. The cable is designed for high strength bending, tested to withstand over 5500 bends.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the cable and connectors for any signs of wear, fraying, or damage. Discontinue use if damage is observed.

Troubleshooting
Device Not Charging
- Check Connections: Ensure both the USB-A and Lightning connectors are fully and securely inserted into their respective ports.
- Verify Power Source: Confirm that the USB power adapter or computer USB port is functioning correctly. Try a different power source if available.
- Inspect Cable: Check the cable for any visible damage, such as cuts, fraying, or bent pins on the Lightning connector. If damaged, discontinue use.
- Restart Device: Sometimes, restarting your Apple device can resolve charging issues.
- Clean Ports: Ensure the charging port on your device is free of debris or lint.
Slow Charging
- Power Adapter Output: Ensure your USB power adapter provides sufficient output (e.g., 5V/2.4A for optimal fast charging). Lower output adapters will charge slower.
- Background Apps: Close unnecessary applications running in the background on your device.
- Cable Condition: A damaged cable, even if still charging, might perform sub-optimally.
Data Transfer Issues
- Computer Connection: Ensure the cable is connected to a functioning USB data port on your computer.
- Device Trust: On your Apple device, ensure you have selected "Trust This Computer" when prompted.
- Software Updates: Ensure your computer's operating system and iTunes/Finder are up to date.
